La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) pronostica para este miércoles que en horas de la tarde se producirán aguaceros localmente moderados con tormentas eléctricas y ocasionales ráfagas de viento en las regiones noroeste, norte, sureste y la cordillera Central.

Onamet explicó que estas precipitaciones están inducidas por la incidencia indirecta de una vaguada en diferentes niveles de la troposfera ubicada en el océano Atlántico y asociada a la tormenta tropical Nicole.

Sin embargo, dijo que, en el resto del territorio nacional, se pronostica un cielo con poca nubosidad y escasas lluvias.

Distrito Nacional: Ligeros incrementos nubosos con posibles chubascos y posibles tronadas.

 

Santo Domingo Norte: Nubes dispersas a medio nublado con aguaceros y posibles tronadas.

 

Santo Domingo Este: Nubes dispersas a medio nublado con chubascos y posibles tronadas.

Santo Domingo Oeste: Nubes dispersas con ocasionales aguaceros aislados y posibles tronadas

 

El Gran Santo Domingo: Temperatura Máxima entre 29°c y 31°C, Mínima entre 22 °C y 24 °C.

 

Para mañana jueves y viernes, Onamet prevé aguaceros localmente moderados a fuertes en ocasiones con tormentas eléctricas y aisladas ráfagas de viento principalmente, sobre diferentes provincias de las regiones: noroeste, noreste, la llanura oriental, el litoral costero Caribeño, (incluyendo el GSD), la cordillera Central y la zona fronteriza.
