El COE reporta 150 personas desplazadas y 11 comunidades aisladas por las lluvias.

El Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia (COE) reportó como producto de las frecuentes lluvias arraigadas a la vaguada, durante los últimos cinco días, un promedio de 150 personas fueron movilizadas a áreas seguras en La Altagracia y San Pedro de Macorís.

El organismo indicó que un total de 30 viviendas fueron afectadas por la crecida del Río Duey, en la provincia La Altagracia, donde los bomberos también informaron que la crecida del Arroyo Yauya produjo el colapso del puente de Línea Nueva en la Carretera Higüey- Miches, dejando incomunicada la otra banda con La Cruz del Isleño.

 

Por el momento, el COE señaló que 11 comunidades han quedado incomunicadas durante el registro de las intensas lluvias, entre ellas: Concho Primo, Diego, Loma  Alduey, Campiña, Platanito, Bejucal, Cabeza de Toro, Guanábano y Regajo, por crecida del Río Soco en San Pedro de Macorís, también en la Región Este.

Ante el más reciente pronóstico de la Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) que establece la persistencia en un patrón de frecuentes aguaceros entre moderados a fuertes, ráfagas de viento en ocasiones y tronadas aisladas, el organismo emitió una serie de alertas para diferentes provincias.

 

Alerta amarilla para el Gran Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor, San Cristóbal, Peravia y La Altagracia.
