Según el informe del tiempo emitido por la Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet), las regiones suroeste, noroeste, sureste y la Cordillera Central, en especial las provincias Barahona, Azua, Peravia, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Hato Mayor, El Seibo y el Gran Santo Domingo serán las más afectadas por las lluvias.

Estas precipitaciones empezarán a sentirse desde la madrugada del sábado y se prolongarán hasta la tarde y la noche. Incluso, se prevé que continúen mañana domingo.

 

En cuanto a las temperaturas, estas se mantendrán calurosas. La sensación térmica se mantendrá elevada a lo largo del día.

 

En tal sentido, la Onamet recomienda a la población ingerir suficientes líquidos, vestir ropa ligera, y evitar la exposición prolongada y sin protección a los rayos del sol, especialmente entre las 11:00 de la mañana y 5:00 de la tarde.
