El Centro Nacional de Sismología de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo informó que un sismo de 4.8 grados se registró este sábado en la provincia de El Seibo, al este de República Dominicana. Este es el informe preliminar.

Nelson Ramírez, analista sísmico, explicó a Listín Diario que el evento fue a la 1.31 de la tarde, hora local.

 

Dijo que el temblor fue de 4.8 grados, a seis kilómetros de la provincia de El Seíbo, a 102 kilómetros de profundidad. En la latitud de 18.75 y longitud oeste 69.1

 

Indicó que esperan las repuestas del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE), para que hagan el rastreo de que se haya sentido.

Mientras que en distintos puntos del Gran Santo Domingo y otras provincias del país han reportado que sintieron el movimiento.
