La directora de la Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet), Gloria Ceballos, informó este jueves que la tormenta tropical Bret generará lluvias significativas sobre el territorio nacional los días sábado y domingo.
Así lo explicó la ingeniera Ceballos en una entrevista ofrecida para “El Sol de la Mañana”, donde especificó que el fenómeno natural estará afectando al sur del territorio nacional, pero aclaró que habrá un campo nuboso en el litoral caribeño, que provocará que otras zonas reciban aguaceros y vientos.
Ceballos aclaró que Bret “no se va a convertir en huracán” debido a que las condiciones ambientales no les son favorables.
“ O sea, sabemos que no nos va a afectar directamente, pero el campo nuboso provocará lluvias en el litoral sur”, dijo la experta.
Bret tendrá mayor fuerza en las demarcaciones que del Este al Oeste, lo que incluye, La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, el Gran Santo Domingo, Peravia, San Cristóbal, Azua y Barahona
Bret producirá lluvias significativas en el país el sábado y domingo, según Gloria Ceballos.
