Guayacanes, San Pedro de Macorís. – El presidente Luis Abinader inauguró este domingo la reconstrucción de dos plazas de vendedores en playa de Guayacanes, San Pedro de Macorís, con una inversión de más de 143 millones de pesos, lo cual se traduce en un impacto para la reactivación económica sostenida y en la generación de empleos de calidad.
El mandatario encabezó estas inauguraciones, junto al ministro de Turismo, David Collado, luego de liderar una importante agenda en la XXVIII Cumbre Iberoamericana de Jefas y Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno, en la que varios presidentes de Iberoamérica y el Rey de España, Felipe VI, destacaron la gran labor que realizó en la Presidencia Pro Tempore.
Ambos proyectos tuvieron un costo, en su ejecución, superior a los 143 millones de pesos, bajo el diseño y construcción del Comité Ejecutor de Infraestructuras en Zonas Turísticas (CEIZTUR).
Las obras, que incluye mejor organización, paisajismo, reconstrucción vial y vigilancia, contribuirá al dinamismo en el flujo de visitantes locales y extranjeros, mejorando significativamente las economías y calidad de vida de comerciantes y de cientos de familias residentes en el entorno del popular espacio costero.
El presidente Abinader sostuvo que estas son pequeñas obras pero de gran impacto porque al tiempo que se atienden a estos pequeños y pequeñas empresarias se les está entregando un lugar digno que la mismo tiempo beneficia a los turistas.
Destacó que en todo el país se están haciendo obras de esta naturaleza, entra las que citó, los de Barahona, Macao, Sosúa, Las Galeras, Palenque, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Samaná, Santo Domingo Este y próximamente el malecón y la playita de Haina, entre otras.
El jefe de Estado aseguró que todo esto se está haciendo con absoluta transparencia y rindiendo los chelitos, para trabajadores que le llenan de orgullo.
Aseguró que el comportamiento del Gobierno es actuar con justicia como se ha hecho en todo el país, dónde no ha habido ningún ruido en esa dirección.
Exhortó a los beneficiarios a cuidar estas obras y a continuar recibiendo capacitación para ofrecer un servicio con mayor calidad cada día.
Desarrollo turístico de Guayacanes
De su lado, el ministro Collado destacó el impacto que tienen esas dos intervenciones para el desarrollo turístico de Guayacanes y toda la región Este.
Dijo que esas obras benefician a los vendedores y los convierte en microempresarios, además de impactar directamente en los turistas que visitan la zona.
«Hoy estamos atendiendo un viejo reclamo de los vendedores y cumplo que las promesas que les hice», manifestó el ministro en medio aplausos.
El primer proyecto inaugurado por el ministro Collado, la plaza de vendedores de la Playita de Guayacanes, cuenta con el embellecimiento del acceso al proyecto desde su llegada por el Boulevar de Juan Dolio, exhibiendo la construcción de amplias aceras, un diseño paisajístico a todo lo largo de la vía adoquinada en un área de 1,500 metros cuadrados de construcción dentro de un espacio de 3,900 metros cuadrados.
Esta nueva plaza en La Playita albergará 10 módulos de ventas para comida con todo su equipamiento; además tendrá, espacio para baños, área de seguridad, iluminación y señalización, y tuvo una inversión de RD$ 81,283,776,77.
Dispone, además, de un diseño paisajístico a todo lo largo de la vía adoquinada, consiguiendo la unificación de la misma vía con la conexión de la plaza de entrada de 500 metros cuadrados.
*Un verdadero cambio para Guayacanes*
Asimismo, el alcalde de Guayacanes, Noel Cedeño, manifestó que, este es un gran acontecimiento porque el municipio estuvo abandonado por mucho tiempo y que desde la llegada del presidente Abinader al Gobierno están viviendo el verdadero cambio y desarrollo.
En tanto, el rector de la Universidad APEC, Franklin Holguín Haché, expuso que, el presidente Abinader desde que asumió el Gobierno designó a varios rectores de universidades como veedores para asegurar la transparencia de los procesos. Certificó que cada metro y metro y cada inversión ha sido vista y verificada por los rectores, lo que les hace que hace sentir ser mejores dominicanos.
Mientras que, el director de Promipyme, Porfirio Peralta, resaltó que el presidente Abinader da un gran apoyo a este sector y que, nunca se habían dando tantas oportunidades como en este Gobierno para que la gente pueda emprender y trabajar.
En representación de los vendedores habló Yanira Eusebio, presidenta de la Asociación de Freidoras y Comerciantes de la Playita Guayacanes, quien expresó de forma muy emotiva que, está feliz y agradecida y es un sueño hecho realidad y es cambio porque además se les ha capacitado y ahora tienen acceso al crédito.
«Señor presidente sumamente agradecida por este cambio, así le pedimos que su próxima gestión, que vamos a trabajar para eso, usted continúe enfocado en Guayacanes», expresó.

*Playa Guayacanes*
La remodelada Plaza de Vendedores en Playa Guayacanes, inaugurada por el Gobierno, y levantada a un costo total de RD$ 61,915,194,15 cuenta como principales obras, 3 módulos de 16 locales con 11 mts2 c/u.
Caracteriza a la obra un embellecimiento de la terraza frontal para ámbito de mesas; igualmente, baños, área de seguridad, iluminación, paisajismo y señalización.
Los 3 módulos disponen de 3, 4 y 9 locales distribuidos desde el primero al tercer módulo respectivamente, incluyendo depósito de almacén.
El proyecto que albergó un espacio de 1,300 metros cuadrados de construcción en un área de intervención de 2,400 metros cuadrados fue diseñado tomando en cuenta la creación de espacios arquitectónicos incluyentes, de forma que el usuario pueda tener acceso a todas las áreas de este.
Al dejar iniciados los trabajos de reconstrucción de las dos plazas hace poco más de un año, junto al presidente Luis Abinader, el ministro Collado afirmó que dichas intervenciones dejarían a la playa de Guayacanes como “modelo en el Caribe”.
