_Encabeza reunión de seguimiento seguridad ciudadana_
Santo Domingo. – El presidente Luis Abinader anuncio la mañana de este lunes la coordinación de acciones conjuntas contra el crimen y la delincuencia durante una reunión con el Consejo Superior Policial en el Palacio de la Policía Nacional.
Al conversar con periodista a su salida del encuentro, expresó que se dio continuidad a las acciones que se realizan para mejorar la seguridad ciudadana en todo el país.
En ese sentido, el jefe de Estado, informó que se ha incrementado toda una estructura y una plataforma tecnológica.
“Estamos coordinando acciones conjuntas, así como las que se establecieron en Santiago la pasada semana, toda una estructura y una plataforma tecnológica que hemos ido incrementando en los últimos 18 meses, en la Policía Nacional está dando resultado en términos estadísticos para conocer donde tenemos que mejorar y en cuales lugares ya tenemos que hacer acciones especiales”, indicó.
El gobernante precisó que la utilidad de las estadísticas es saber dónde hay que poner mayor atención y un esfuerzo concentrado en algunos casos.
“Lo importante es que por primera vez se está realizando un trabajo conjunto y organizado y que todos los lunes estaremos trabajando aquí, y personalmente voy a venir a todos estos casos y a todas las acciones para mejorar la seguridad ciudadana en todo el país”, puntualizó.
Dijo que en los próximos días la población va a tener estadísticas confiables que van a ser revisadas y analizadas todos los lunes, para verificar donde están funcionando los planes y donde no y así aplicar las medidas de lugar.
El mandatario recordó que este tipo de reuniones se han realizado muchas veces, pero que se determinó que ahora serían semanalmente para dar seguimiento a cada una de las acciones de la Policía Nacional y del Ministerio Público, coordinado también con la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD).
La reunión se realizó en el Salón Club de Oficiales del Palacio de la Policía Nacional, donde también participaron los ministros de la Presidencia, Joel Santos; de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez; de Defensa, teniente general Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa; de Educación, Ángel Hernández; ; el director de la Policía, mayor general Eduardo Alberto Then; el presidente de la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD), vicealmirante José Cabrera Ulloa; entre otras personalidades.
También estuvieron presentes la procuradora adjunta y titular de la Dirección de Persecución del Ministerio Público, Yeni Berenice Reynoso y una comisión de fiscales integrada por la fiscal del Distrito Nacional, Rosalba Ramos; de Santiago, Osvaldo Bonilla; de Santo Domingo Este, Milciades Guzmán; de Espaillat, Yorelbin Rivas; de Duarte, Smaily Rodríguez; de La Vega, Aura Luz García; de Santo Domingo Oeste, Edward López; de San Cristóbal, Fadulia Rosa; de Samaná, Erika Pujols; de La Romana, es interino, Víctor Henríquez y de La Altagracia, Mercedes Santana.
