Impulsarán plan de capacitación a 158 municipios del país

SANTO DOMINGO.-Los 158 municipios y 235 distritos municipales del país serán beneficiados con un amplio plan de capacitación y asesoría que desarrollarán de manera conjunta el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP) y la Liga Municipal Dominicana (LMD).

El plan será desarrollado mediante un convenio que firmaron el director general del INFOTEP, Rafael Santos Badía, y el secretario general de la LMD, Víctor José D’ Aza, para impulsar las capacidades técnicas y gerenciales de los colaboradores de los gobiernos locales y de los emprendedores de la sociedad civil.

 

 

Este acuerdo establece el diseño de programas según las necesidades de la Liga Municipal Dominicana con interés especial en temas de emprendimiento e innovación orientados a los gobiernos locales.

 

Santos Badía dijo que el INFOTEP firma esta alianza con la Liga Municipal Dominicana, siguiendo los lineamientos del gobierno que preside Luis Abinader de fortalecer y eficientizar los municipios.

“Es por tal motivo de meridiana importancia capacitar a los colaboradores que día a día sirven a su población para facilitarles su bienestar, ornato, limpieza orden, vialidad y todos los beneficios que, por su naturaleza, la ley les faculta y que hacen tan necesarias y especiales las alcaldías y distritos municipales de nuestro país”, destacó Santos Badía.

 

 

De igual manera, D´Aza explicó que está alianza es un paso más que refuerza el compromiso de la nueva Liga Municipal para fortalecer la gestión de los gobiernos locales. “Trabajar de la mano con INFOTEP será una oportunidad única para avanzar en la profesionalización de los recursos humanos municipales y dotar a los gobiernos locales de las herramientas para una gestión moderna y eficaz al servicio de la ciudadanía”, enfatizó.

 

El convenio, con vigencia de cuatro años, contempla la gestión de pasantía e inserción laboral para los participantes egresados de las acciones de formación impartidas por el INFOTEP, así como el intercambio de metodologías y buenas prácticas, estudios y encuestas del sector, a los fines de identificar posibles áreas de trabajo conjunto.

 

 

Con este acuerdo se persigue, además, garantizar que los servidores de la LMD y de los gobiernos locales brinden los servicios de manera oportuna, eficaz y cumpla con parámetros nacionales de calidad y desempeño. De igual manera, propiciar a los munícipes las herramientas necesarias para generar fuentes de empleo.

 

Entre las responsabilidades que asume el INFOTEP en esa alianza se incluye ofrecer el servicio de validación a todos los candidatos presentados por la LMD y certificar a todo aquel que concluya con éxito los procedimientos y pruebas de evaluación exigibles, de acuerdo con la planificación anual y el presupuesto disponible.

 

 

También Apoyar a la LMD, a través del Instituto de Capacitación Municipal (ICAM), en el fortalecimiento del cuerpo docente y en la estructuración de los programas de formación, orientados al desarrollo de los servidores municipales.

 

Mientras, la LMD se compromete a apoyar al INFOTEP en el proceso de post Consulta Nacional, a través de sus estructuras en todo el territorio, con el fin de aportar al impulso y desarrollo de los sectores productivos del país.

 

Asimismo, ambas instituciones asumen el compromiso de evaluar la gestión de captación de fondos vía cooperación internacional para proyectos de investigación y desarrollo de iniciativas.
