DNCD decomisa 30, 045.49 kgs. de drogas entre agosto del 2020 al 10 de agosto de 2021

La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) aplicó un efectivo plan de persecución contra el delito procediendo al decomiso de 30, 045.49 kgs. de diferentes tipos de drogas, entre el 19 de agosto del 2020 al 10 de agosto de este 2021.

 

De ese total, según un resumen estadístico de la DNCD, las autoridades procedieron a la incautación de 23, 984.19 kgs de procedencia local y de 6,061.30 kgs. de decomisos internacionales con la colaboración de los organismos de seguridad del Estado.

Se procedió también en diversos operativos, al apresamiento de 16,049 personas entre los cuales el 94% son dominicanos y el restante 6% extranjeros.

Asimismo, fueron ocupadas 165 armas de fuego; 1,766 vehículos incautados, 5 millones 233 mil 824 dólares y 15 millones 416 mil 951.34 pesos.

 

Las autoridades extraditaron a 61 personas como parte de las medidas para contrarrestar el delito, indica el informe preparado por la DNCD.

Además, de la DNCD, participan en los operativos de lucha contra el tráfico internacional de drogas efectivos del Ministerio de Defensa de la República Dominicana (MIDE); la Policía Nacional, el Departamento Nacional de Investigaciones (DNI) y la Armada de República Dominicana.
