El Consejo Nacional de Educación (CNE) aprobó este lunes la propuesta del Calendario Escolar 2023-2024, que establece el inicio de año lectivo para el 28 agosto.
Durante la Segunda Sesión Ordinaria, el Consejo, encabezada por el ministro de Educación, Ángel Hernández, en su calidad de presidente del órgano rector del sistema educativo preuniversitario, conoció los avances para la apertura del próximo año escolar, aprobó la creación de una comisión representativa de diferentes instituciones que servirá de puente de conciliación con la Asociación Dominicana de Profesores (ADP).
Asimismo, se aceptó la propuesta de ordenanza para la Política Nacional de Alfabetización Inicial en la edad oportuna, con la cual se podrá garantizar el desarrollo pleno de los estudiantes y su aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida.
Asimismo, Ancell Scheker, viceministra de Servicios Técnicos y Pedagógicos del Ministerio de Educación, dijo que en el Consejo hay un consenso de la importancia de aprovechar el tiempo de la escuela y garantizar que se ejecuten las clases como se establece.
El documento contiene el horario oficial de clases de cada nivel y modalidad educativa y tiene como temas centrales la alfabetización inicial, un derecho de los niños y niñas, la adecuación curricular en los diferentes niveles y la importancia del docente en el aprovechamiento del tiempo.
