Carlos Balcácer, quien encabeza la defensa, alega que en el expediente hay archivos que no deberían estar, ya que aparecen mujeres semidesnudas, al parecer de algunos de los entrevistados en el caso Medusa.
Sostuvo que hay archivos, que fueron depositados en el disco duro por el Ministerio Público, que no le abren a ellos y que eso dificulta preparar su medio de defensa, además, de que no pueden llevar el expediente físico a la cárcel de Najayo donde se encuentra su cliente, por el volumen de documento que no permiten entrar al recinto penitenciario.
Balcácer dijo que el tiempo máximo del cese de la prisión preventiva del exprocurador vence el 29 de este mes.
Jean Alain se enfrenta hoy a su segunda prueba de fuego en el juicio preliminar a las más de 3,500 pruebas que el Ministerio Público se propone hacer valer en su contra, y de los demás encartados en el caso Medusa.
El juez Amauris Martínez, del Tercer Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, encabeza el conocimiento de la solicitud de apertura a juicio en contra de Alain Rodríguez y los demás imputados.
Los imputados
En el caso figuran como imputados, además de Rodríguez, el exdirector de Tecnología de la Información y la Comunicación del Ministerio Público, Javier Alejandro Forteza Ibarra; y el exdirector administrativo, Jonathan Joel Rodríguez Imbert.
Igualmente, la ingeniera Jenny Marte Peña, exencargada de Proyectos y los exsubdirectores administrativos, Alfredo Alexander Solano Augusto y Altagracia Guillén Calzado, así como Rafael Antonio Mercedes Marte, exdirector de Contabilidad, y Miguel de Moya.
Nuevos acusados
En la lista de los nuevos acusados figura Ramón Burgos Acosta, exdirector del Sistema Nacional de Resolución Alterna de Conflictos (Sinarec); Félix Antonio Rosario, exdirector de la Oficina de Acceso a la Información Pública del Ministerio Público; Braulio Michael Batista, Jonathan Medina Reyes, Ysis Tapia, Mercedes Salcedo Disla, Carolina Pimentel Bonifacio y Francis Ramírez Moreno.
Asimismo, Lisandro José Macarrulla Martínez, Reynaldo Santos de la Cruz, Daniel Enrique Feliz, Francisco Arturo Santos, Fausto Cáceres Salterio, Francisco Alberto Vásquez, Carlos Augusto Guzmán Oliver, Rafael Salvador Rasuk, Sean Hudson Dwiggins, Ricardo Antonio Carrasquero, José Antonio Santana Julián, Felipe Fernández de Castro e Ismael Elías de Jesús.
