Primera dama inaugura obras prometidas por el presidente en Las Matas de Farfán

Las obras forman parte de un proyecto de desarrollo integral._

Las Matas de Farfán- La primera dama Raquel Arbaje, bajo su iniciativa Uniendo Voluntades, inauguró y realizó el primer picazo de varias obras que forman parte del proyecto de desarrollo integral y de rescate del municipio Las Matas de Farfán, prometido por el presidente Luis Abinader en marzo de 2021.

 

Durante su visita a San Juan de la Maguana, Arbaje explicó que la materialización de este proyecto contó con el apoyo de los ministerios de Deportes, Obras Públicas, Vivienda, Educación, Agricultura y Salud Pública, así como el Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS), Seguro Nacional de Salud (Senasa) y el Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (Inespre).

 

Además, el Instituto Nacional de Aguas Potables y Alcantarillados (Inapa); Instituto Nacional Formación Técnico Profesional (Infotep), Supérate, Instituto Nacional de Recursos Hidráulicos (Indrhi), Plan Social de la Presidencia, Consejo Nacional de las Personas Envejecientes, Fondo Especial para el Desarrollo Agropecuario (FEDA), Sistema Único de Beneficiarios (SIUBEN) y la Alcaldía de Sabana Alta.

 

Entre las obras inauguradas se encuentran el remozamiento de la entrada a las Matas de Farfán por parte del MOPC, que incluye un busto en honor al periodista Orlando Martínez y una tarja de bronce con su nombre, la reconstrucción de la carretera San Juan-Las Matas de Farfán, y el asfaltado y señalización de algunas calles del municipio.

 

Asimismo, la construcción del Asilo de Ancianos Santa Lucía, que será administrado por Conape.

 

“Cuando el presidente declaró a San Juan de la Maguana en estado de emergencia, sus palabras fueron seguidas de inmediato por el diseño de un plan de inversión en la provincia que sobrepasa los cuatro mil millones de pesos que busca devolverle su bien ganada fama de granero del Sur, y terminar con las penurias sociales y económicas de su gente, que es buena y trabajadora y merece que el Estado la redima de su abandono”, expresó la primera dama.

Arbaje, también, participó en la entrega de los terrenos para la construcción del mercado, a cargo de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Barrial (CPADB), así como en la entrega a 900 personas de las tarjetas del programa Supérate; y de una ambulancia al SNS.

 

La primera dama visitó y recorrió un proyecto de viviendas a cargo del Ministerio de la Vivienda y Edificaciones (MIVED); y una jornada de inclusión social, Primero Tú, organizada por la Dirección General de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales de la Presidencia (Propeep).

 

De igual manera, estuvo presente en el acto de entrega de llaves de nueve casas por el FOMPER y de hogares a madres de la comunidad por el Instituto de Auxilios y Viviendas (INAVI).

 

La visita a San Juan de la Maguana concluyó con una reunión con las autoridades para escuchar las necesidades del municipio de Las Matas de Farfán.
