Presidente Abinader inaugura dos centros educativos y un CAIPI en provincia Santo Domingo; destinan RD$1,600 millones para reconstrucción de calles, aceras y contenes en San Isidro y San Luis

Santo Domingo. – Al regresar a la República Dominicana desde la ciudad de Miami, el presidente Luis Abinader se reintegró de inmediato a sus labores, dando seguimiento a su programa de inauguraciones.

Para esto se dirigió a Santo Domingo Este donde entregó la escuela básica Virgen de La Altagracia, en San Isidro, y el liceo San Francisco de Asís, en Los Frailes, con una inversión conjunta de 228 millones y espacio para más de 1700 estudiantes.

De igual forma el mandatario encabezó la inauguración de un Centro de Atención Integral a la Primera Infancia (CAIPI), en El Majagual, Sabana Perdida, de Santo Domingo Norte, por 62 millones de pesos con capacidad para 250 niños y niñas.

Durante su recorrido, también supervisó el programa de construcción de aceras y contenes en San Isidro y San Luis y se reunió con arroceros y ganaderos de La Victoria.

Escuela Básica Virgen de la Altagracia

El centro ubicado en San Isidro, cuenta con 27 aulas para más de 900 estudiantes, áreas deportivas, recreativas y otros espacios, construidos a un costo superior a RD$117 millones.

El viceministro de Educación, Oscar Amargos, indicó que el mismo funcionará bajo la co-gestión de los Ministerios de Educación, Defensa y la Fuerza Aérea de la República Dominicana, donde funciona el Colegio Militar Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro.

Esta entrega establece el campus número 2 del mencionado centro educativo, permitiendo su descongestionamiento y beneficiando a las familias de militares y la comunidad cercana.

Liceo San Francisco Asís

Con la inauguración de este liceo, construido con RD$111 millones, se amplía la cobertura educativa en Los Frailes, la cual ha ido aumentando conjuntamente con su crecimiento demográfico.

La comunidad esperó este centro de nivel secundario por unas dos décadas y podrá recibir más de 800 estudiantes en 24 aulas. También cuenta con comedor, canchas deportivas, áreas administrativas, entre otras.

En representación de los estudiantes, Stefan Augusto Then y Daneury Demorizi, agradecieron por el esperado centro; al igual que Yoara Ferreras, de la Escuela Básica Virgen de la Altagracia.

Entrega CAIPI en Majagual

Más tarde, el presidente Abinader junto al ministro de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascensión, inauguró un nuevo Centro de Atención Integral a la Primera Infancia (CAIPI) en El Majagual, Sabana Perdida, con una inversión de RD$62 millones, que beneficiará a 250 infantes.

Ascensión explicó que el centro tendrá 10 aulas para niños y niñas menores de cinco años, incluyendo un módulo de dos espacios para lactancia materna.

De su lado la subdirectora de Gestión Operativa y Territorial del INAIPI, Yanina Torres, agradeció el compromiso asumido por el presidente Abinader para dar bienestar a la primera infancia y a las familias dominicanas.
