Interior y Policía entrega en Monte Plata quinta sede de gobernación remozada.

Trabajos en 10 infraestructuras restantes están en fase final

El Ministerio de Interior y Policía entregó la remozada sede de la gobernación de Monte Plata, es la número cinco de las 15 que serán remodeladas para corregir el deterioro en el que fueron halladas por esta gestión. Los trabajos implicaron una inversión de 7 millones 832,172 pesos.

La labor incluyó la reparación de oficinas, salón de eventos, baños, cocina, rediseños de espacio, techo, reemplazo de tuberías, mantenimiento de áreas comunes y de ventanas, instalación de puerta con logo institucional, pinturas, acondicionamiento de exteriores, reemplazo y brillado de piso de granito, entre otros aspectos.

Durante el acto inaugural, el ministro Jesús Vásquez Martínez dijo que en la condiciones que recibió la estructura era necesario intervenirla y manifestó que el costo total de las reparaciones de esas sedes es de RD$108 millones, recursos del ahorro de la institución, provenientes de las recaudaciones.

“Con esos mismos fondos hemos comprado aparatos tecnológicos a la Policía y formamos una gran cantidad de agentes para su mejor funcionamiento”, afirmó.

Instó a los jóvenes de la provincia a formar parte del cuerpo del orden, porque les ofrece otro estilo de vida y superación. Mostró satisfacción de dignificar ese estamento junto al presidente Luis Abinader.

En tanto, la gobernadora Rafaela Javier Gomera agradeció el gesto del funcionario de entregarles reparado el local de trabajo. “Ya los monteplatenses están cómodos porque tienen una gobernacion nueva y en buen estado”, manifestó la gobernadora.

Igual dio gracias al mandatario por confiarle ese cargo y prometió seguir apegada a los buenos principios, lealtad y valores a la hora de administrar los fondos de su provincia.


De su parte, Roberto Carlos Jimenez, director de los Gobiernos Provinciales, manifestó placer por compartir con los lugareños un edificio renovado con una estructura firme.

En la actividad estuvieron Altagracia Herrera, alcaldesa de Monte Plata; Isidro Mieses, de Sabana Grande de Boyá; Juan Francisco Manzueta, de Peralvillo; Lionsito José Sencilie, director del distrito municipal de Don Juan; Balbarín Pimentel de los Santos, de Chirino y Nelson Acevedo, de Mamá Tingo.

Además Anderson de los Santos, presidente de la Comisión Presidencial; Omar Olivo, director del Instituto de Innovación en Biotecnología e Industria (Iibi); el diputado Rafael Luna; el director Regional policial Ángel Contrera; coronel José Anastacio Brea Román, comandante Policía de Monte Plata y Victor Pichardo, director Departamento Aeroportuario.
