Nace la tormenta tropical Dolores en el Pacífico mexicano

La tormenta tropical Dolores nació este viernes en aguas del Pacífico mexicano y dejará fuertes lluvias en el país, donde la interacción de varios fenómenos meteorológicos ya ha causado al menos dos muertes, informó este viernes el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN).

«La depresión tropical Cuatro-E en el Océano Pacífico se ha intensificado a la tormenta tropical Dolores, su centro se localiza al suroeste de las costas de Guerrero», indicó el SMN en un comunicado.

Las bandas nubosas de este sistema ocasionan «lluvias puntuales extraordinarias» en el sureño estado de Guerrero, puntuales torrenciales en Michoacán y Oaxaca, puntuales intensas en Jalisco, Colima y Chiapas.

Además de vientos con rachas fuertes, oleaje elevado y la posible formación de trombas marinas en costas de Oaxaca, Guerrero y Michoacán.

Actualmente, el ciclón se sitúa a 340 kilómetros al suroeste de Técpan de Galeana, en Guerrero, y a 370 kilómetros al sur de Lázaro Cárdenas, en el occidental estado de Michoacán.

Se mueve hacia el oeste-noroeste a 17 kilómetros por hora y registra vientos sostenidos de 65 kilómetros por hora y rachas de 85 kilómetros por hora.

«Estas lluvias podrían generar aumento en los niveles de ríos y arroyos, desbordamientos, deslaves e inundaciones en zonas bajas de terreno», indicó el Meteorológico.

Según el pronóstico, la tormenta tropical, aunque no ganará fuerza ni llegará a ser huracán, avanzará paulatinamente hacia el norte y tocará tierra en la tarde del sábado 19 de junio por el estado de Jalisco.

La temporada de lluvias y ciclones tropicales 2021 comenzó el pasado 15 de mayo y se estima que finalice en noviembre.

Por el momento, se han formado los ciclones Andrés, Blanca y Carlos.

FUERTES LLUVIAS EN EL PAÍS

Paralelamente, la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua) pronosticó lluvias puntuales extraordinarias, mayores a 250 milímetros (mm) en Guerrero; puntuales torrenciales -de 150 a 250 mm- en Michoacán y Oaxaca e intensas -de 75 a 150 mm- en zonas de Colima, Jalisco, Puebla y Veracruz.

El organismo estimó precipitaciones en prácticamente todo el país.

Las condiciones atmosféricas son generadas por las amplias bandas nubosas del potencial Ciclón Tropical Tres, localizado sobre el Golfo de México, un canal de baja presión sobre la península de Yucatán; la aproximación de la Onda Tropical Número 4 y la tormenta tropical Dolores.

En las últimas horas, la caída de un relámpago causó la muerte de dos personas en San Nicolás Yaxe, en la región central de Oaxaca, y al menos 20 municipios están en alerta por inundaciones.

Mientras que en Guerrero, según medios locales, hay un lesionado y una decena de casas inundadas por las fuertes lluvias.
