Ministro de Obras Públicas anuncia la construcción de tres carreteras, que conectará la Autovía del Este con la provincia del Seibo y Miches.

El ministro de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, Dedigne Ascención, anunció la construcción de tres carreteras, una de las cuales, conectará la Autovía del Este con la provincia del Seibo y Miches y, otras dos que comunicarán al municipio cabecera con Vicentillo y La Cuchilla, respectivamente.

Indicó que la construcción de la vía que enlazará la autovía del Este con Miches, cuya longitud sería de 102 kilómetros, fue una disposición expresa del presidente Luis Abinader.

Asimismo, el ministro de Obras Públicas anunció que en los próximos días iniciará la construcción de la carretera La Cuchilla, con una extensión de 12 kilómetros, con una inversión que sobrepasa los 206 millones de pesos.

El programa “Obras Públicas con la Gente”, para esta provincia de El Seíbo, conlleva una inversión superior a los 100 millones de pesos y que contará con la participación de más de 350 colaboradores, en beneficio de más de 93 mil residentes.

Ascención consideró que El Seibo ha tenido una acumulación de problemas y un olvido por parte de los distintos gobiernos que se han sucedido, pero que el presidente Abinader ha dispuesto cambiar esa realidad en esta provincia.

En la provincia El Seibo serán impactados los municipios Santa Cruz de El Seibo y Miches, así como los distritos municipales Pedro Sánchez, San Francisco, Vicentillo, Santa Lucía, El Cedro y La Gina.

El plan de acción de “Obras Públicas con la Gente” está bajo la supervisión del viceministerio de Coordinación Regional, Luis Bastardo, y la Dirección de Coordinación Regional.

A la actividad, realizada en el Club del Cuerpo de Bomberos, asistieron La gobernadora de esa provincia la sra. Irene Martínez, el senador Santiago Zorrilla, la diputada Grey Maldonado; el director de Comunidad Juan Maldonado Castro; los viceministros de Obras Públicas Luis Bastardo, Nelson Colón, José del Carmen Montero y Mélito Santana Rincón, el general Rafael Vásquez Espínola, Directo de Comipol, Alejandro Ramírez, Director Administrativo y Financiero, Virgilio de los Santos, Director Financiero, Sócrates Ramón Paulino, entre otros.
