Miembros de red de Adán Cáceres siguen en instituciones «maniobrando» para que evidencias no lleguen a la PGR

El Ministerio Público asegura que dentro de instituciones del Estado aún permanecen miembros de la “red de corrupción” encabezada por el mayor general Adán Benoni Cáceres Silvestre, jefe de seguridad del expresidente Danilo Medina y que estos están “maniobrando” evidencias para “evitar” que estas lleguen a manos de las autoridades que los investigan.

La Procuraduría Especializada de Persecución de la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca) indica en la solicitud de medida de coerción contra los seis implicados en la denominada operación “Coral” que la red dispuso la “colocación estratégica” de personas desde el inicio del primer Gobierno del expresidente Medina.

Se constituyeron en una organización criminal que realizó cientos de operaciones ilícitas en el periodo comprendido entre agosto del 2012 a agosto del 2020 y que incluso en la actualizada sigue haciendo operaciones en instituciones del Estado a través, de la colocación estratégica de personas que pertenecen a la red que le responden no solo en acciones de distracción y no menos graves, maniobrando para evitar que evidencias importantes para la investigaciones que realiza el Ministerio Público lleguen a sus manos”, establece el documento depositado ante la corte.

Además de Cáceres, por el caso se encuentran detenidos la pastora Rossy Guzmán, Tenner Flete, hijo de la pastora; Rafael Núñez de Aza, teniente coronel; y Raúl Alejandro.

El Ministerio Público solicitó un año de prisión preventiva como medida de coerción para todos los implicados y espera que el caso sea declarado como complejo.

El conocimiento de esa solicitud será conocida este miércoles a las 11:00 am en el Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva.
