La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) incauta 344 paquetes de cocaína en las costas de la provincia Peravia

Los agentes antinarcóticos, apoyados por unidades navales y aéreas, tras recibir una alerta, dieron persecución a los ocupantes de una embarcación, que según informes pretendían introducir una indeterminada cantidad de drogas a territorio dominicano.

 

Luego de varias horas de iniciada la operación, según la DNCD, la embarcación de unos 23 pies de eslora, fue interceptada a varias millas náuticas de las costas de Punta Salinas.

Dicen las autoridades, tras abordar la lancha, se apresaron a tres hombres (dos dominicanos y un colombiano) y se incautaron 12 sacos que contenían en su interior los 344 paquetes de la sustancia.

En la operación conjunta se incautó, además, dos motores fuera de borda de 150 caballos de fuerza cada uno,varios garrafones de combustibles, una lona, una neverita con bebidas energizantes, agua, entre otras evidencias.

Los detenidos están siendo entregados al Ministerio Público de la provincia Peravia para conocerle medidas de coerción en las próximas horas, mientras se profundizan las investigaciones para determinar si hay otros implicados en el caso.

Según la DNCD, los 344 paquetes están han sido enviados ena de custodia al Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses (Inacif) que determinará en su análisis el tipo y peso de la sustancia.
