Gobierno de Luis Abinader ha entregado 46,798 títulos de propiedad a familias pobres del país

San Pedro de Macorís. -Para más de dos mil familias del municipio de Consuelo, este sábado culmina la anhelada espera de tener un título de propiedad, generando un cambio de vida en cada una de estas.

 

Durante décadas han trabajado y vivido en terrenos que no les pertenecían pero que fueron intervenidos por el Estado para llevarles dignidad y la garantía de su derecho de propiedad.

 

“Fue un anhelo, una añoranza de toda una vida, un sueño que hoy se hace realidad” manifestó Cristino Ramírez, residente por más de 20 años en esta comunidad.

 

Entre abrazos, alegría, aplausos y el agradecimiento que hoy los embarga, los presentes recibieron al presidente Luis Abinader, quien encabezó la entrega de 2,631 certificados que impactarán a más de 10 mil personas.

 

“Vamos cumpliendo punto por punto con los compromisos que hicimos con el pueblo dominicano”, expresó con orgullo el Presidente.

 

Agregó que los títulos que ahora poseen no solo los hace dueños de sus hogares y negocios, sino que les permite ser agentes de crédito para poder expandirlos y continuar mejorando su calidad de vida.

 

Con este acto se le reconoce a cada una de estas familias su derecho a la tierra que por años han trabajado o en la que han construido sus vidas junto a sus familias.

 

“Esas personas que duraron tanto tiempo sembrando caña y otras formas de trabajo, hoy van a poder decir: Ya tengo mi título”, dijo otro de los beneficiados.

El proyecto de titulación de Consuelo impactará a un total de 8,627 familias en varias etapas.

 

El director de la Unidad Técnica Ejecutora de Titulación de Terrenos del Estado, Mérido Torres, resaltó que por primera vez en 10 años que tiene la institución, se titula un pueblo completo.

 

Agregó se trata de un logro más del gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader pues “en solo dos años y tres meses hemos sobrepasado la cantidad de títulos entregados en los primeros 8 años de esta institución y es que hoy hemos logrado la suma de 46,798”.

 

Torres señaló además que la UTECT tiene más de 100,000 resultantes para el 2023.

 

Los títulos entregados este sábado representan un ahorro de RD$210,480,000.00 para los beneficiarios y los terrenos fueron donados por el Consejo Estatal del Azúcar, abarcando un área de 972,069.46 metros cuadrados.

 

Las familias impactadas residen en barrios como Los Jardines, Libertad, Los Vecinos, Pueblo Nuevo, Hato Mayor, Central Urbanización Sueño Real, Urbanización Maestro Li, Enriquillo, La Loma, El Quilombo, La Gallera, La Guamita, La Habana, Villa Verde, Guachupita, Las Palmas, Santa Ana y La Mina.

 

Estuvieron presentes, el ministro de la Presidencia, Joel Santos; la gobernadora Aracelis Villanueva; el alcalde municipal Juan Padilla; el administrador del Banco Agrícola, Fernando Durán; el director de Bienes Nacionales y el CEA, Rafael Burgos; los diputados Luis Gómez y Carolina Paula; el subdirector de la UTECT, Rubén Céspedes; el presidente de INDOTEL, Nelson Arroyo.
