Llaman a la prudencia para evitar rebrotes covid y otras situaciones lamentables

 

El Ministerio de Interior y Policía anunció la flexibilización del horario para la venta y expendio de bebidas alcohólicas, que regirá desde hoy hasta el 06 de enero, de domingo a jueves hasta la 2:00 de la madrugada y viernes y sábado hasta las 4:00 de la madrugada.

 

La decisión de extender una hora la comercialización fue asumida en una reunión entre ese organismo y el Gabinete de Salud, en la que participaron la vicepresidenta Raquel Peña; los ministros Daniel Rivera y Jesús Vásquez Martínez, y el director Control de Expendio de Bebidas Alcohólicas (Coba) José Sánchez Payano.

Sánchez Payano indicó que las autoridades mantienen el llamado a la prudencia y a evitar aglomeración en estas festividades por la pandemia de covid-19 y exhortaron a los establecimientos a respetar la medida para evitar rebrotes y garantizar la tranquilidad.

 

Recordó que la violación a esta disposición daría lugar al cierre temporal o definitivo del establecimiento y la cancelación de las licencias o permisos.

 

El funcionario advirtió que la Dirección de Control de Expendio de Bebidas Alcohólicas será rigurosa en el seguimiento para verificar que sea cumplida la norma, para fortalecer así las políticas públicas que preservan la seguridad ciudadana.

 

De este modo, la disposición extiende por tres semanas las operaciones de centros de diversión, que según el decreto 308-06 deben operar de domingo a jueves hasta las 12:00 de la medianoche y viernes y sábado hasta las 2:00 de la madrugada.
