Asociación de empresas hoteleras celebran el VIII encuentro anual para el desarrollo turístico de Samaná.

Fue celebrado con rotundo éxito en el día de ayer el VIII Encuentro Anual para el Desarrollo de Samaná.

Samaná.- El Clúster Turístico de Samaná (CTS) y la Asociación de Hoteles y Empresas Turísticas de Samaná (Ahetsa) celebraron con éxito el VIII Encuentro Anual para el Desarrollo Turístico de Samaná, el cual se llevó a cabo este año bajo el lema “Samaná, un destino de experiencias”.

El presidente del CTS, Jesús Durán, resaltó que Samaná es, indudablemente, un destino de experiencias y de gran aporte a la economía del país que se ajusta a las necesidades de cada visitante abordando conocimientos, costumbres y emociones que hace de cada visita, algo único.

 

De su lado, Juan Bancalari, presidente de Ahetsa, resaltó la importancia de este tipo de plataformas que dinamizan e impactan positivamente el país, fortaleciendo la empleomanía y producción de las zonas, en el referido caso, de Samaná.

Además, agradeció el apoyo del Ministerio de Turismo (Mitur) por estar presente una vez más en el encuentro que fortalece la zona y el sector en general.

 

El programa del encuentro incluyó la ponencia de Svenja Paulino, directora del programa Biodiversidad y Negocios en Centroamérica y República Dominicana, de la GIZ, con el tema “Samaná hacia un destino ecológico y sostenible”, así como con Isabel Piñero, Chief Sustainability Officer Grupo Piñero, quien abordó “Samaná; naturaleza, ritmos y experiencias únicas”, y Sharon Mei, gerente general del puerto Amber Cove, Puerto Plata, con “Amber Cove, Maimón Puerto Plata: Experiencia y claves de buena práctica”.

Asimismo, Rafael Santos Badía, director general Instituto De Formación Técnico Profesional (Infotep) agregó importantes aportes sobre “La formación técnico profesional y su impacto en el desarrollo del turismo de RD”.

El acto de cierre incluyó la entrega de reconocimiento al alcalde del año Eduardo Esteban, alcalde municipal de Las Terrenas y al director de distrito del año, Fernando Mercado, director del distrito municipal El Limón y a los colaboradores premium por el constante apoyo.

 

El encuentro contó con el apoyo de Mitur, GIZ, Bahia Principe Hotel & Resorts, Inotep, Bonita Group, Indusnig, Banreservas, Samaná Bayport, Bahía Cruise Services, Catrain & Vega Abogados, Legal Unit of Properties Analysis, Viva Wyndham V Samaná, Hotel Playa Colibrí, Marina Puerto Bahía, MINT, Hospitality Management Solutions, Hacienda Samaná Bay, Aerodom, Bancalari Corredores de Seguros, Santa Bahía Kitchen & Bar y la Dirección General de Cine de la República Dominicana (Digecine).

Además asistieron autoridades de la provincia, en entre ellos, la gobernadora Teodora Mullix Geraldino, el Senador Pedro Catrain, los diputados Ramón Aníbal Olea y Danny Guzmán, los Alcaldes y directores municipales, Nelson Nuñez, Cecilio García, Luis Felipe Fermín y la vicealcalde Sugely Sandoval, entre otras personalidades.
