Agricultores y Ganaderos de Sánchez reciben el apoyo del gobierno por los daños dejado por el huracán Fiona.

Sánchez, Samaná RD-El Gobierno a través del Ministerio de Agricultura y del Banco Agrícola, llegó hoy al municipio de Sánchez, a darle apoyo a los productores agrícolas y a los ganaderos por los daños causados por el huracán Fiona.

El Alcalde Ynocencio al dar la bienvenida al Ministro de Agricultura Limber Cruz y al Administrador del Banco Agrícola, Fernando Duran, dijo que la situación que dejó el paso del huracán fue devastadora para la agricultura y la ganadería, las siembras, casi en su totalidad fue afectadas, el ganado por igual por la inundación, dijo además que más 250 viviendas fueron destruidas, los caminos vecinales también sufrieron daños, manifestó la grandeza del presidente de la República porque al día siguiente del paso del huracán Fiona estaba dando respuesta positiva a la población.

Mientras que el senador Pedro Catrain al participar con las demás autoridades, expresó que Samaná, aparte que es sol y playa, también es una zona agrícola y que la repuesta del gobierno ha sido muy positiva porque ha llegado a la provincia a darle un gran espaldarazos a ese sector, dijo además que gracias al presidente Abinader ya están en la provincia los materiales para reconstruir las casas que fueron afectadas por el fenómeno como también la entrega de raciones de alimentos, entre otras ayudas.

Los afectados pidieron al ministro Limber Cruz, un equipo de peritos que estudie los daños que cada uno ha tenido y así puedan tener una idea clara de los daños que el el fenómeno ha dejado.

El administrador del Banco Agrícola Fernando Durán garantizó que gracias al Presidente Abinader los agricultores recibirán el apoyo que necesitan para restablecer su sembrado, apoyo financiero a tasa cero, y a los que tienen deuda con la entidad, reprogramarla, facilitándole así nuevos recursos.

Limber Cruz ministro de agricultura dijo que ante el paso del fenómeno por el país y por la zona de producción han definido trabajar en la ejecución de un plan a corto plazo, realizando nuevos caminos vecinales e interparcelarios, preparación de las tierras, facilitándoles semillas y plantas a los productores .

Manifestó que los productores pueden estar seguros que la mano amiga del presidente Abinader y del gobierno llegó y seguirá presentes hasta que resuelvan los problemas.

Dijo que harán los levantamientos punto por punto para garantizar que las ayudas lleguen a los productores que de verdad la necesitan, y de inmediato puso a disposición un greda, vehículo de carga y otros equipos para la habilitación de los caminos.
