Presidente Abinader inicia plan operativo de respuesta inmediata a necesidades de La Altagracia por paso de huracán Fiona

_Anuncia entrega de fondos especiales operativos de la Presidencia para municipios y distritos municipales de provincias afectadas._

 

Higüey, La Altagracia.-El presidente Luis Abinader realizó este martes un recorrido por zonas afectadas por el huracán Fiona en la provincia La Altagracia, donde anunció las iniciativas que serán puestas en marcha para dar respuesta oportuna, en coordinación con las diferentes instituciones del Estado.

 

Al encabezar una reunión en la Gobernación provincial con las autoridades del gobierno e instituciones de servicios, el mandatario aseguró que todos trabajan de forma coordinada para que la normalidad en todos los órdenes llegue a esta provincia y a las demás afectadas por el fenómeno atmosférico.

 

Abinader informó que de los fondos especiales operativos de la Presidencia se le va a entregar el jueves un aporte a todos los alcaldes y directores de distritos de las zonas afectadas del país para contratar personal y puedan normalizar situaciones de escombros u otros temas de consideración.

 

Precisó que el monto de los aportes será anunciado por el ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza en el día miércoles y se entregarán el jueves.

 

“Esto es un aporte presupuestario a cada una de las alcaldías y distritos municipales”, dijo el jefe de Estado.

 

Con relación al tema de la energía eléctrica, que lo definió de suma importancia, el presidente Abinader señaló que ya conversó con el Gerente General de EdeEste, Andrés Portes y Manuel Lara, el cual preside el consejo unificado de las Edes, para que se logre la normalización en el menor tiempo posible.

 

En el municipio de Higüey, indicó, esperan terminar con un 20% y gradualmente, en los próximos nueve días restablecer todo el sistema eléctrico.

 

Hoteles operan en un 90%

 

En materia de Turismo, el presidente explicó que aunque se suspendieron vuelos, el aeropuerto de Punta Cana está operando normalmente y destacó que el 90% de los hoteles de la región están funcionando normalmente y el 10% restante estará en operación en unos 10 días.

 

Expresó que al día de hoy espera que todo lo que es infraestructura vial no tenga ninguna situación que impida el tránsito, y que ya desde anoche se trabaja para que se pueda permitir el flujo vehicular en toda la provincia de La Altagracia.

 

En lo referente a la seguridad, expuso que solicitó una ayuda especial a las Fuerzas Armadas, que desde anoche inició un operativo especial tanto en el Este como en el Nordeste del país y que se extenderá por el resto de la semana.

 

En el caso de La Romana, Hato Mayor y El Seibo, apuntó que en cada una de esas provincias hay ya aproximadamente entre un 10 y un 20% de electricidad actualmente, y en los próximos 6 días se irá mejorando, hasta llevar la solución definitiva.

 

“Esto es así porque la línea de transmisión que viene desde la Romana tanto la D69 KV como la 138 KV, está afectada y no será hasta las 2 de la tarde que la Empresa de Transmisión de Energía la va a poder recuperar después de tener varios postes y torres que fueron afectados por el huracán” informó el primer mandatario.

 

Destacó que todo el gabinete social del Gobierno está presente en la provincia y la región este. Además, dijo que en lo que resta de la semana se dirigirá a las otras provincias afectas por el huracán Fiona.

 

Asimismo, agregó el mandatario que el 90% de hoteles opera normalmente y el transporte de pasajeros se está realizando por la autovía del coral hasta que el rio Duey baje su cauce.

 

“Estamos confiados de que cada uno de los organismos del Gobierno y las instituciones, así como la Gobernación local y todas las instituciones ejecutivas del Gobierno están haciendo su trabajo y cuánto antes se van a normalizar las operaciones de esta provincia y de las demás afectadas del Este”, manifestó el gobernante.

 

Al responder preguntas de la prensa sobre el reporte general de daños, explicó que el Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo trabaja en la implementación, por primera vez, de un programa para tener un estimado de los daños tanto en infraestructura como agricultura y otros aspectos.

 

Explicó que las instituciones mencionadas trabajan con todas las instituciones del Gobierno, manteniéndose en constante comunicación. Además, dijo que le tomaría unos 5 días para tener un estimado de los daños causados por el huracán Fiona.

 

Plan operativo por zonas vulnerables

 

El mandatario sostuvo que actualmente se está operando normalmente desde los hospitales y varios de campaña para emergencias, gracias a la colaboración del obispo de la diócesis de La Altagracia, monseñor Jesús Castro Marte.

 

Informó que el ministro de Vivienda y Edificaciones, Carlos Bonilla trabaja en un inventario de todos los materiales de construcción que se necesitan donde conjuntamente trabajan con la administración municipal de Yuma, Higüey, Nicibon, La Otra Banda y los diferentes distritos de todo el Este.

 

“Vamos ayudar a todas la personas que en los sectores más vulnerables han sufrido”, afirmó.

 

De igual forma, expresó que el Plan Social de la Presidencia trabaja con la distribución de colchones y comida cruda. También, los Comedores Económicos trabajan distribuyendo comida cocinada.

 

Bono especial de Supérate

 

Anunció que implementarán un bono especial a través de Supérate para los residentes de las zonas afectadas por el huracán Fiona y agregó que se trabaja en el inventario del personal para ser entregado el bono.

 

El presidente Abinader, confirmó que el año escolar programado para este miércoles, continua en pie, ante la interrogante de si sería pospuesto. Informó que el acto de inauguración oficial del año escolar se hará en el Distrito Municipal de la Victoria en Santo Domingo Norte.

 

Destacó que el Ministerio de Educación dispondrá cuando inicia el año escolar de acuerdo a la situación particular de cada provincia ante el paso del fenómeno atmosférico.

 

Realiza recorrido en Barrio Los Platanitos

 

El presidente Abinader finalizó su recorrido en esta provincia con una visita al Barrio Los Platanitos. Allí fue recibido con gran alegría por las familias afectadas a quienes manifestó que se va a trabajar en la urgencia que tiene la provincia.

 

«Lo que vamos a hacer son dos cosas primero la urgencia, vamos a ir con el gabinete social para traer comida, que ya empezó anoche y seguirá desde hoy, en unos días vamos a traer colchones y colchonetas y también aquí está el Ministerio de la Vivienda que viene desde las otras calles haciendo un inventario de todas las viviendas afectadas, vamos a traer zinc, madera para ayudar a nuestros vecinos», expresó el gobernante.

 

Igualmente, el jefe de Estado exhortó a la comunidad a trabajar unidos, en una situación difícil que es de todos.

 

Acompañaron al mandatario obispo de la diócesis de La Altagracia, monseñor Jesús Castro Marte; los ministros de Defensa, teniente general, Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa; de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascención; de Salud Pública, Daniel Rivera; de Energía y Minas, Antonio Almonte; de Vivienda y Edificaciones, Carlos Bonilla; y los directores del Servicio Nacional de Salud SNS, Mario Lama y del INESPRE, Iván Hernández.

 

Asimismo, la gobernadora de la provincia La Altagracia, Martina Pepén; el alcalde Rafael Baron Duluc (Cholitin).
