El procurador adjunto Wilson Camacho señaló este jueves, que el exprocurador de la República, Jean Alain Rodríguez debe concentrarse en “defenderse de la sólida acusación que el Ministerio Público ha presentado en su contra”, misma a la cual no se refiere a sabiendas de que no cuenta con elementos que le permitan defenderse.

En esa acusación el Ministerio Público le imputa a Jean Alain Rodríguez haber utilizado el Ministerio Público para construir un capital económico que le permitiera construir capital político. En ese sentido, desde el Ministerio Público (bajo su dirección) se diseñaron esquemas de corrupción, en el modelo penitenciario, tanto en el plan de humanización como en el tema de los alimentos.
El titular de la Procuraduría Especializada de Persecución de la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca), se refirió en estos términos al ser abordado por periodistas al respecto del informe presentado por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) y distribuido por la defensa de Rodríguez, referente al proceso que se le sigue por encabezar el entramado de corrupción administrativa que fue desmantelado con la Operación Medusa.
“De esas cosas, y al igual del hecho tener un movimiento político, en este caso el Movimiento Político Renovación, que fue sustentado con fondos del Ministerio Público, o una estructura de comunicación gigantesca que tenía Jean Alain Rodríguez para promover su figura y para atacar a líderes de comunicación, a quienes llamó “lista de detractores”, además de diseñar un esquema para borrar información, que le permitiera borrar evidencia que el Ministerio Público afortunadamente, gracias a un peritaje informático, recuperó y que depositó en la acusación, de eso Jean Alain no habla”, sostuvo Camacho, quien enfatizó que el exprocurador no habla de los hechos de su acusación porque le teme como “el diablo a la cruz”.
Con relación al resto del tema del informe, señaló que deben “estar claros y deben estar conscientes, que el resultado de ese informe es la consecuencia de un ejercicio agresivo de lobbismo que realizó Jean Alain Rodríguez para obtenerlo”, pero que no tiene ningún tipo de efecto ante la acusación del órgano persecutor, ya que son los hechos que están en la acusación los que determinarán su culpabilidad.
“Estamos más que convencidos de que irá a juicio y que en un juicio es imposible que él pueda refutar los hechos de la acusación”, afirmó el titular de la Pepca.
Al ser cuestionado sobre el señalamiento de que el proceso seguido a Rodríguez ha sido “arbitrario” según el citado informe, Camacho señaló el accionar apegado a la norma del Ministerio Público y que cada una de las decisiones han estado sustentadas en los tribunales.
“La prisión de Jean Alain Rodríguez es el resultado de una audiencia de medida de coerción, en la que se le impuso prisión preventiva; fue la consecuencia de una apelación de esa medida de coerción en la que se le mantuvo la prisión preventiva y fue la consecuencia de varias revisiones en las que se le rechazó la variación de la medida de coerción, hasta que se conoció el cese de la misma y se le fue variada a arresto domiciliario, ósea, incluso se están refiriendo a una prisión preventiva que en este momento no existe”, explicó Camacho.
En este proceso, además de Rodríguez, el Ministerio Público acusa a 41 personas físicas y 22 empresas de coalición de funcionarios, prevaricación, asociación de malhechores y estafa contra el Estado. También, por sobornos, crímenes y delitos de alta tecnología y lavado de activos.
En el expediente el órgano persecutor además acusa en este entramado de corrupción a Alfredo Alexander Solano, exsubdirector administrativo del Ministerio Público; a Javier Alejandro Forteza Ibarra, exdirector de Tecnología de la Información y la Comunicación del Ministerio Público, y a Jonathan Joel Rodríguez Imbert, ex director administrativo.
Asimismo, a Jenny Marte Peña, exencargada de Proyectos; a la ex subdirectora administrativa, Altagracia Guillén Calzado, así como a Rafael Antonio Mercedes Marte, exdirector de Contabilidad, y al exasesor Miguel José Moya.
