Supermercados venderán productos a precio del Inespre todos los jueves

Santo Domingo.- La Dirección General de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales de la Presidencia (PROPEEP), el Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (INESPRE) y las cadenas de supermercados la Sirena, Plaza Lama, Jumbo, El Nacional, Iberia y La Fuente lanzaron la campaña “Compra a Precio de INESPRE en el Supermercado”, para que la población pueda adquirir alimentos de la canasta básica a bajo costo todos los jueves.

Para tales fines, fue firmado un acuerdo entre los directores de PROPEEP, José Leonel Cabrera (Neney); el director del INESPRE, Iván Hernández Guzmán y Mario Lama, presidente del Grupo Lama y otros representantes de los supermercados.

Neney Cabrera, director del PROPEEP, informó que con esta incitativa el Gobierno dominicano busca amortiguar el efecto de la crisis internacional en los precios locales, dándole mayores opciones y facilidades a la población de poder comprar alimentos con hasta un 30 por ciento de descuento en más de 120 establecimientos comerciales de dichas cadenas.

Mientras que Iván Hernández Guzmán, director del INESPRE, indicó que por tan solo 1,000 pesos las personas tendrán acceso a nueve productos de la canasta básica en combos, entre ellos: arroz selecto (10 Lbs.), habichuela pinta (800 GR.), aceite (16 Onz.), cartón de huevos (30 unidades), salami (2 Lbs), spaguetti (400GR), pasta de tomate (16 Onz.), sardinas (125 GR) y pollo congelado (3.5 Lbs.), y destacó que estos productos también estarán disponibles de manera detallada.

«Todos los jueves las amas de casa y el público en general podrán dirigirse a los supermercados, buscar las góndolas identificadas con el nombre de la campaña, adquirir sus productos en combo o detallados y al momento de pagar facilitar el número de cédula a la cajera, para así llevar un registro de la venta», explicó el funcionario.

En tanto que Mario Lama, presidente del Grupo Lama, calificó como positivo dicho pacto, alegando que el mismo demuestra una vez más la intención del sector privado de respaldar las iniciativas del Gobierno en favor de la población y de la estabilidad económica del país.

La campaña «Compra a Precio del Inespre en el Supermercado» tendrá una duración de tres meses en su primera etapa, permitiendo la compra de un combo por persona y comercializará productos hasta agotar existencia.

El INESPRE y PROPEEP supervisarán, analizarán y auditarán el desarrollo del presente convenio, a fin de garantizar el éxito del mismo, mediante la comprobación de que real y efectivamente se están cumpliendo los propósitos perseguidos.
