PEDERNALES.-La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD), informó este jueves que una aeronave cargada de supuesta cocaína, se accidentó la noche del miércoles en el municipio de Oviedo, provincia Pedernales.

La aeronave tipo Cessna, llegó procedente de Sudamérica con 175 paquetes de una sustancia que se presume es cocaína, según los primeros informes.

El organismo precisó que le daba seguimiento con aviones Súper Tucanos a la avioneta cuando incursionó en el espacio aéreo dominicano, lo que obligó al piloto a hacer un aterrizaje forzoso.

Equipos élites rastrean la zona en busca de los ocupantes.
