Salud Pública reporta 14 muertes por coronavirus; nueve ocurrieron en las últimas 24 horas

El Ministerio de Salud Pública reportó 14 fallecimientos por coronavirus, nueve de los cuales ocurrieron en las últimas 24 horas, lo que eleva a 3,815 el acumulado de muertes a nivel nacional.

Además, fueron notificados 714 nuevos contagios, tras la realización de 4,844 pruebas PCR para detectar el virus. También, fueron procesadas 2,261 muestras de seguimiento a pacientes infectados.

Hasta este martes 29 de junio, en el país se han registrado 324,364 casos de coronavirus, de los que 54,749 permanecen activos y 265,800 corresponden a personas recuperadas.

Sobre los fallecimientos reportados hoy, 5 se registraron en Santo Domingo, 3 en el Distrito Nacional, 2 en Santiago y 1 en San Cristóbal, Puerto Plata, El Seibo y Duarte, respectivamente.
En cuanto a los indicadores, el reporte epidemiológico #467 sitúa en 14.74 % la positividad diaria, en 16.84 % la positividad acumulada y en 1.18 % la tasa de letalidad.

Sobre la ocupación hospitalaria, las autoridades sanitarias reportaron una baja e informaron que 1,162 camas están siendo utilizadas por pacientes en condiciones estables. Además, 394 contagiados están ingresados en unidades de cuidados intensivos, ocupando el 62 % del total, y 267 personas están conectadas a ventiladores, para un 51 %.
