1,200 personas bailaron al ritmo de “Pena por ti” del maestro Luis Segura para conseguir el Récords Guinness del baile de bachata más grande del mundo
La República Dominicana inscribió una vez más su nombre en el libro del Guinness World Records, con el baile de bachata más grande del mundo con 600 parejas bailando al unísono, título que hasta el momento tenía Polonia con 480 parejas.
Al son de la canción del maestro Luis Segura, “Pena por ti”, que fue interpretada por Kiko Rodríguez, Daniel Santa Cruz y Alexandra Rodríguez, logró que el país obtuviera “Un Récord pa’ la Bachata”, título del evento que estuvo bajo la producción de Alberto Zayas y fue celebrado en la avenida George Washington de Santo Domingo.
Susana Reyes fue la adjudicadora oficial del Guinness World Records Latinoamérica, quien explicó que algunas de las reglas principales para lograr obtener el récord era que los participantes estén en parejas, portar un mismo vestuario, desarrollar la coreografía y bailar la pieza musical que ya había sido preaprobada por el equipo de Guinness World Records.
Tras media hora del análisis de las evidencias del baile, Reyes indicó que dos parejas de las 600 fueron descalificadas, unas 1,200 personas en total y que oficialmente Polonia había perdido su título como el baile de bachata más grande ante la República Dominicana.
