_Reconocen al mandatario por apoyo a la formación y desarrollo de la municipalidad del país en beneficio de los dominicanos._
Santo Domingo. – El rector de la Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE), José Alejandro Aybar Martí, expresó hoy que la República Dominicana está en un momento estelar y que gracias al empeño que ha puesto el presidente Luis Abinader, el país se ha convertido en un referente global en diferentes áreas.
Al hablar en el acto de lanzamiento de los Programas Municipales Técnico Superior, Grado y Maestría que introduce lUNICARIBE, encabezado por el presidente Abinader, Aybar Martí expresó que hoy se consolida un esfuerzo de muchos años y que siempre estuvo en su interés lograr la formación de los ciudadanos dominicanos en una gestión de ayuntamientos y distritos municipales con una visión diferente y moderna.
“Lo que me da más satisfacción es que lo estamos haciendo en este momento estelar de la República Dominicana cuando nuestro país es un referente mundial de la recuperación económica, un referente el manejo de nuestro Presidente a la pandemia, referente el turismo y muchas más que han hecho nuestro país un referente global. Eso se lo debemos a usted señor presidente Luis Abinader y lo agradecemos y a su empeño por hacer de este país, un país mejor” expresó Aybar Martí.
De su lado, el presidente Luis Abinader afirmó que la expansión y el fortalecimiento de la municipalidad son determinantes para acrecentar el desarrollo nacional, y resaltó que los alcaldes fueron los principales aliados del Gobierno y a los que apoyamos para implementar las acciones para socorrer a quienes resultaron perjudicados tras el paso del huracán Fiona.
Dijo que esa es la razón por la que, “en nuestra agenda gubernamental, en el programa de gobierno y en el plan plurianual del sector público la municipalidad tiene una relevancia indiscutible”, señalando también, que dentro de las prioridades gubernamentales está el reconocimiento de la municipalidad como ente de desarrollo y primera línea de respuesta a las problemáticas de las comunidades y sus ciudadanos.
Durante el acto, realizado en el Auditorio Banco BID, de UNICARIBE, el mandatario manifestó que en todas las políticas y planes que impulsa su administración para reformar y modernizar la administración pública se encuentra incluido lo municipal.
Bienestar de conciudadanos
Refirió que los alcaldes y alcaldesas, directores y directoras distritales, regidores y servidores municipales “son los que están en contacto directo con la gente en sus comunidades y son quienes hacen sus mejores esfuerzos por el bienestar de sus conciudadanos”.
El jefe de Estado sostuvo que desarrollar la administración municipal es una meta inexcusable si queremos desarrollar a nuestro país y alcanzar mayor bienestar de nuestros conciudadanos.
En ese contexto, indicó, además, que “es la razón por la cual en la reciente situación de emergencia por los efectos del huracán Fiona los alcaldes fueron nuestros principales aliados y a los que apoyamos para implementar las acciones para socorrer a quienes resultaron perjudicados”.
Al valorar la nueva oferta académica dirigida a la formación de los recursos humanos municipales que aplicará de ahora en adelante la Universidad del Caribe, el gobernante expresó que se trata de una iniciativa positiva “y es un acierto estratégico con el que nos identificamos”, por lo que exhortó a toda la toda la municipalidad dominicana a que aprovechen esta oportunidad de fortalecer su formación académica y así convertirse en mejores entes de desarrollo para continuar transformando sus territorios y con ellos al país.
El presidente Luis Abinader felicitó a las autoridades de la Universidad del Caribe por asumir este proyecto y reconocer en la municipalidad un liderazgo imprescindible para el desarrollo de la República Dominicana.
Sobre el particular, expuso igualmente, que:” Es importante que veamos esta oportunidad con una visión amplia de integración y por eso quiero motivar a esta importante casa de estudio hacer contacto con todos los partidos políticos de nuestro país para acercarlos y explicarles la oferta académica y estimular a sus militantes en el ámbito de la municipalidad a aprovechar este recurso de formación pensado y concebido como un aporte importante para el desarrollo de la sociedad dominicana”.
Reconocimiento por apoyo a la municipalidad
El rector de la casa de estudios, José Alejandro Aybar Martí y la directora de la carrera Altagracia Tavares, hicieron entrega de un reconocimiento al presidente Abinader por su apoyo a la formación y desarrollo de la municipalidad del país en beneficio de los dominicanos.
Abinader ha puesto en primera línea a la municipalidad
De su lado, el presidente de la Federación Dominica de Municipios (FEDOMU), Kelvin Cruz, manifestó su satisfacción por estar en un día memorable donde se pone en marcha la preparación de la municipalidad que tendrá un impacto para el sector que conecta más la sociedad y que además es una oportunidad que debe aprovechar todo aquel que tenga intención de servir tanto como alcalde, regidor o director municipal.
“En estos tiempos donde la municipalidad está en el centro de atención de las políticas públicas de nuestro país, donde el presidente Abinader ha tomado la deferencia de ponernos en el mapa de la importancia de las ejecutorias del estado dominicano y donde desde el primer día que llegó a la Presidencia ha demostrado con hechos más que con palabras, que en cada uno de sus proyectos, en cada de sus decisiones, en cada de las políticas públicas siempre está la municipalidad como primera línea de acción o primera línea de atención entre los problemas y el Estado dominicano”, resaltó Cruz.
Asimismo, la directora de la Carrera Administración Municipal, Altagracia Tavares, calificó como un hecho trascendental para el país el inicio de esta oferta académica y dijo que además fortalecerá de forma significativa las capacidades de la municipalidad dominicana.
Definió al presidente Abinader como un hombre visionario que ha demostrado con hechos, no con palabras, que se puede, y agregó que sin su apoyo y decisión hoy la municipalidad no podría exhibir esta licenciatura en administración municipal.
Acompañaron al presidente Abinader, los ministros de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología, Franklin García Fermín; de la Juventud, Rafael Feliz García; de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales, José Leonel Cabrera.
También, los directores de la DGII, Luis Valdez; de SUPÉRATE, Gloria Reyes; del INAP, Cristián Sánchez; de Promipyme, Porfirio Peralta; de Autoridad Portuaria, Jean Luis Rodríguez; de Alianzas Público y Privadas, Sigmund Freund; de la CAASD, Felipe Subervi; de la OMSA, Radhamés González y la directora de Prodminicana, Biviana Riveiro.
De igual forma asistieron, la Alcaldesa del municipio de Salcedo y presidenta de la Unión Mujeres Municipalistas, María Mercedes Ortíz; la vicerrectora de UNICARIBE, Shahily Pimentel y el presidente de la Comisión de Desarrollo Provincial, Ángel De La Cruz.
