Promese/Cal inaugura siete Farmacias del Pueblo con inversión superior a los RD$13.6 millones en San Juan

San Juan, R.D.- El Programa de Medicamentos Esenciales y Central de Apoyo Logístico (Promese/Cal), dejó inauguradas siete Farmacias del Pueblo en las que se invirtieron RD$13 millones 634 mil 304 que impactarán en la calidad de vida de más de 23 comunidades de esta provincia, la más grande del Sur del país.

Adolfo Pérez, director de Promese/Cal, al encabezar el acto de inauguración en el Centro de Atención Primaria El Rosario, dijo que con las nuevas farmacias suman 589 las puestas en servicio en el territorio nacional.

Las siete Farmacias del Pueblo están ubicadas en los Centros de Atención Primaria de las comunidades de El Batey, Hato del Padre, Las Charcas de María Nova, Las Zanjas, Carrera de Yegua, Las Jaguas y El Rosario.

Pérez, destacó que en con las nuevas farmacias, se sigue garantizando la salud de la población más vulnerable del país en medio de la pandemia del Covid-19.

Con estas nuevas inauguraciones, Promese/Cal ya cuenta con 27 farmacias en la provincia de San Juan, cuya cobertura alcanza a más de 241 mil habitantes, en cumplimiento a las disposiciones del presidente Luis Abinader quien ha hecho de la salud, la prioridad de su Gobierno.

Las nuevas Farmacias del Pueblo, dispensarán medicamentos esenciales, entre estos, los utilizados para tratar la hipertensión arterial, la diabetes, antiinflamatorios, antigripales, analgésicos, vitaminas, insumos hospitalarios y ortopédicos.

En el acto, Ismael Espinoza, en representación de las juntas de vecinos, emitió unas palabras de agradecimiento, mientras que, el padre Ramón Emilio Del Rosario Adames de la parroquia Cristo Rey, tuvo a su cargo la bendición de las obras.

Líderes comunitarios de la provincia destacaron la importancia de la apertura de las farmacias, que dispensarán medicamentos de calidad a bajos precios.
