Mediante el decreto presidencial 349-21 emitido por el Gobierno Nacional, queda reducido el horario para la venta de bebidas alcohólicas a nivel nacional para ser consumidas en espacios públicos y privados de uso público desde las 3:00 p.m. hasta las 5:00 a.m., así como el consumo mismo de estos productos en dichos lugares.

En el renglón, de expendio de bebidas alcohólicas, decretaron «Queda prohibido a nivel nacional el expendio de bebidas alcohólicas para ser consumidas en espacios públicos y privados de uso público desde las 3:00 p.m. hasta las 5:00 a.m., así como el consumo mismo de estos productos en dichos lugares».

Asimismo, en el artículo 9 del presente decreto anuncian la regulación de lugares de consumo de alimentos y bebidas. «Se dispone que los lugares de consumo de alimentos y bebidas en todo el territorio nacional podrán recibir clientes en sus instalaciones hasta el 50% de su capacidad total, en estricto cumplimiento de los protocolos sanitarios vigentes, y sin exceder 6 personas por mesa en los lugares que aplique.
