Programa de Reciclaje (3RS) hacia la sostenibilidad en la Alcaldía de Sánchez.

Con la participación del Consejo de Regidores, colaboradores, integrantes del comité gestor de la Alcaldía y miembros de la Junta de vecinos de La Plazoleta, se llevó a cabo hoy la charla, taller del programa de Reciclaje 3RS, hacia la sostenibilidad en la Alcaldía de Sánchez, impartido por la Licda. Halina Rewkiewicz de la Fundación 3RS.

 

 

El objetivo principal del taller ha sido la de adquirir los conocimientos en materia de sostenibilidad ambiental y en el ámbito de la logística de manejo de residuos reciclables para ser implementado en el municipio de Sánchez.


El proceso educativo para dicho reciclajes de los desechos sólidos, iniciará con la instalación de tres contenedores frente a él edificio de la alcaldía, para que el personal de la casa municipal como también los moradores que habitan detrás del ayuntamiento y de La Plazoleta, depositen en ellos los desechos sólidos debidamente separados.


El proyecto tiene como objetivo concientizar a toda la población para su incorporación, amparada en la Ley 225-20 para “prevenir la generación de residuos y establecer el marco jurídico para su gestión integral y fomentar la reducción, reutilización, reciclaje, aprovechamiento y valorización de los residuos”.


Destacar que la provincia Samaná, es una de la primera en el país donde se está capacitando a los ayuntamientos para esto fines, con el propósito de contribuir con la mejora de la gestión de los lodos fecales y de los residuos sólidos.

La Fundación 3RS trabaja en este proyecto con el apoyo del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), la Agencia de Cooperación Internacional del Japón (Jica) y la Fundación Tropigas.
