Presidente Luis Abinader: “Gobierno y la Policía enfrentarán la delincuencia en cualquier terreno”.

_Encabeza clausura del Primer Congreso del Distrito Nacional en la cual se aprobaron las Normas de Convivencia para construir una comunidad sin ruidos nocivos y molestos por dirigentes_ 

Santo Domingo.- El presidente Luis Abinader aseguró que el Gobierno y la Policía enfrentarán la delincuencia en cualquier terreno y para ello se está preparando a la institución responsable de garantizar la seguridad ciudadana.

“Y les quiero decir en estos momentos que los delincuentes o se entregan o serán enfrentados drásticamente por la Policía Nacional y por el Gobierno. Estamos preparando y hemos avanzado bastante, aunque nos falta, una institución del orden para enfrentar verdaderamente a los delincuentes”, advirtió el jefe del Estado.

 

El mandatario reconoció la preocupación por el tema de la seguridad y dijo que esa es su prioridad y que, a pesar de que las estadísticas revelan que la situación era peor antes, entiende que es demasiado en la actualidad y por eso se trabajará para enfrentarla y disminuirla, pero para ello es necesario el apoyo de cada dominicano.

 

Aseguró que se esfuerza para que quienes se apartaron de la ley y quieran pasar a ser personas de bien la sociedad los reciba y ayude “pero los que deciden, los que tienen otra decisión y alterar la paz y la seguridad serán enfrentados en cualquier terreno por este gobierno”.

 

Suma de todos para lograr la paz

El gobernante expresó que con el apoyo de todos los sectores se tiene que construir en la República Dominicana una verdadera paz social “no como había en algunas comunidades, una paz mafiosa en la que se ponían de acuerdo algunas autoridades”.

 

Declaró que la paz social se construye hablando con los líderes de las comunidades porque son los conocedores de las situaciones en sus respectivos barrios y para ello se tendrá una comunicación directa con el gobierno a fin de subsanar los problemas.

 

En ese sentido reiteró que trabajará con la gente sería, que es la mayoría de los dominicanos, que los ayudará con sus problemas para saldar la deuda social que se tiene con los dominicanos.

 

Al dirigirse a los presentes en la clausura del Primer Congreso Normas Comunitarias del Distrito Nacional destacó que esa actividad va en la dirección de ayudar a la inmensa mayoría de los dominicanos que quieren vivir en paz y lograr la felicidad junto a los suyos en los barrios.

 

“Y a esos es que vamos a apoyar cada día desde el Gobierno dominicano”, dijo el presidente Abinader al recordar que la seguridad ciudadana es un compromiso de todos.

 

“Nosotros somos los responsables, el gobierno lo es, pero tiene que convertirse en un compromiso de toda la sociedad y de aquí empezamos con este programa de normas comunitarias, como un primer paso con otras acciones a ejecutar para poder trabajar junto a ustedes y convertir cada barrio de la República Dominicana en un lugar de paz, de buena convivencia donde se persiga el principal objetivo de todo ciudadano que es lograr la felicidad”, apostilló.

 

El gobernante expresó su apoyo a quienes trabajan por una mejor sociedad por lo que llamó a quienes se desvían de las normas a reencausarse o serán asumirán las consecuencias de sus acciones.

 

“Para nosotros avanzar en un mundo en el que, si ustedes buscan las noticias internacionales, cada vez se vuelve más violento y que se ha acelerado después de la pandemia y nosotros, como hemos logrado mejorar en todas las áreas desde la pandemia, la recuperación económica vamos a lograr también mejorar en la seguridad ciudadana y vamos a convertir a la República Dominicana en uno de los países más seguros del mundo”, declaró el mandatario.

 

El presidente Abinader insistió en que, tras superar la pandemia de la Covid-19, la principal preocupación de su gestión es garantizar la seguridad ciudadana.

 

El mandatario que llamó a convertir en ley de convivencia entre los ciudadanos las normas consensuadas por líderes de los distintos capitalinos que participaron del congreso.

 

La iniciativa forma parte de la Estrategia Integral de Seguridad Ciudadana «Mi País Seguro» que busca fomentar los valores y principios, con el compromiso de los ciudadanos de los diferentes sectores y la alianza de acercamiento de las autoridades a la comunidad.

Acompañaron al mandatario en la mesa principal los ministros de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vázquez Martínez (Chú); de Vivienda y Edificaciones, Carlos Bonilla; encargado de Proyectos Especiales y Estratégicos de la Presidencia, José Leonel Cabrera (Neney); el contralor general de la República, Catalino Correa.
