Presidente de la FDC afirma Presidente Abinader: “Es el mandatario que se ha manejado con mayor nivel de transparencia en la historia de la RD”.

_El mandatario fue reconocido por la FDC por labor para la recuperación de la economía luego de la pandemia del Covid 19._

 

Santo Domingo. – El presidente de la Federación Dominicana de Comerciantes (FDC), Iván García, afirmó hoy que el Presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, “es el mandatario con mayor nivel de transparencia en la historia de la República Dominicana”, y ponderó, además, la fluida comunicación que mantiene con el sector productivo.

García dijo que “tenemos que reconocer que es el Presidente que se ha manejado con mayor nivel de transparencia en la historia de la República Dominicana”, destacó.

 

Asimismo, valoró el nivel de comunicación que sostiene el jefe de Estado con el sector comercio desde que asumió la conducción del Estado, el 16 de agosto de 2020.

 

Al respecto, planteó que: “En estos 26 meses de gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader tenemos que admitir que el presidente, cuan nivel más elevado de comunicación con nuestro sector comercio. Es un presidente que siempre escucha a nosotros los que estamos en contacto diario con el pueblo dominicano”, admitió García.

 

Refiriéndose a la transparencia en el manejo de la administración pública en la actual gestión, el presidente del gremio de los comerciantes expuso que ello representa un gran paso de avance en materia de institucionalización, reflejándose, agregó, en la independencia del Ministerio Público.

 

En ese sentido, el empresario Iván García sostuvo que el Presidente Luis Abinader ha dejado que los miembros del Ministerio Público cumplan con su papel sin intervenir en ninguna de sus decisiones.

 

En torno al apoyo dado por el Gobierno a ese sector comercial, dijo que a través de Promipyme se han facilitado 12 mil millones de pesos a los miembros de la Federación Dominicana de Comerciantes en el país. Por igual, resaltó el acuerdo de “Precios Justos”, suscrito con Pro-Consumidor y su director ejecutivo, Eddy Alcántara.

 

Manifestó que la FDC cuenta con 432 asociaciones de comerciantes distribuidos en el territorio nacional que en total, incluye, a 63, mil 300 afiliados.

García habló en el acto donde el Ministerio de Interior y Policía rubricó un acuerdo institucional con la Federación Dominicana de Comerciantes (FDC), que amplía los establecimientos comerciales donde se ofrecerán descuentos a los agentes del orden en sus compras, rebajas que también, se incrementan de un 6 por ciento hasta un 10% en todo el país.

 

El ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez Martínez y el director de la Policía Nacional, mayor general Eduardo Alberto Then suscribieron el convenio junto al presidente de la FDC, Iván García, en un hotel de esta capital, en ocasión de la celebración del 48 aniversario de la entidad empresarial.

 

Se informó que todos los miembros de la Policía Nacional que se encuentren registrados en la base de datos de esta institución recibirán descuentos de un 10 por ciento en la compra de productos en los establecimientos afiliados a la FDC, previa presentación del carnet de identificación.

 

Con este nuevo acuerdo ya son más de 200 los establecimientos afiliados que beneficiarán a los agentes policiales de los 1,715 supermercados que agrupa la FDC en el territorio nacional, según reveló el empresario Iván García.

 

Economía dominicana crecerá un 4.5% el próximo año

Al pronunciar unas breves palabras el Presidente Luis Abinader dijo sentirse complacido, emocionado y comprometido tras recibir un reconocimiento por la Federación Dominicana de Comerciantes, donde destacó, que se proyecta un crecimiento económico para el país de más de un 5% este año y un 4.5% para el 2023.

 

“Este país va a crecer a más de un 5% este año, que, si lo comparamos con la situación regional e internacional, somos privilegiados y dependiendo de la situación internacional, también vamos a crecer un 4.5% en lo adelante, es decir, el próximo año”, explicó.

 

Abinader resaltó, además, que está cumpliendo con su responsabilidad y compromiso asumido tras llegar al poder poniendo como norte la protección de todos los dominicanos, especialmente los más necesitados.

 

En otro orden, el Presidente Luis Abinader valoró la colaboración y aportes brindados por la Federación Dominicana de Comerciantes y su impulso con el desarrollo de la nación.

 

Igualmente, el gobernante reiteró su apoyo e instó a continuar con la comunicación que tienen para cuando se presenten dificultades como es normal se puedan resolver entre todos.

 

Calidad de Vida de la Gente

 

“Les digo que el más optimista sobre el ritmo del país soy yo, yo creo que este país va a seguir hacia delante, que vamos a seguir desarrollándonos más que los otros países de la región, si continuamos con políticas sensatas, con políticas claras, transparentes, cuidando cada centavo del Gobierno para poder invertirlo donde pueda tener mayor resultado en relación con la calidad de vida de nuestra gente”, agregó.

 

El jefe de Estado igualmente felicitó al sector comercial del país que durante los años de crisis, a partir de la pandemia de la Covid 19, asumieron con gran compromiso social logrando mantener sus negocios y manteniendo un buen clima de vínculos con sus clientes.

 

Al recibir un reconocimiento por el restablecimiento de la economía nacional post pandemia, manifestó que: “Gracias por reconocer lo que es mi responsabilidad ante el pueblo dominicano, puede estar seguro que seguiré trabajando con la misma pasión, con la misma de responsabilidad y con el mismo optimismo que lo he hecho por más de 2 años para que el país pueda hacer un Faro de Luz en una región con tantas dificultades como la tenemos actualmente”, indicó.

 

Reconocimiento al presidente Abinader

La FDC también hizo entrega de reconocimientos en diferentes renglones a destacados comerciantes del país donde en la categoría excelencia fue reconocido, Benjamín Martínez de la Romana; en el supermercado del año a Carlos Manuel González, de Barahona y al ferretero del año, Eufemio Reyes, de Higüey.

 

En la categoría de servidores públicos, fue reconocida la directora de ADESS, Digna Reynoso, por sus grandes aportes al sector. En la parte de responsabilidad social, fueron distinguidos los doctores Cruz Jiminián, Ramón Álvarez y Juan Oviedo

Acompañaron al Presidente Luis Abinader en el evento, el ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús -Chu- Vásquez; el director de la Policía Nacional, el Mayor General, Eduardo Alberto Then; la senadora por la Provincia de Bahoruco, Melania Salvador y la Enlace de la Presidencia con la FDC, Geanilda Vásquez.

 

También, el Comisionado para la Reforma Policial, Pepe Vila del Castillo; el director del INESPRE, Iván Hernández; el presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Santiago de los Caballeros, Carlos Iglesias; la vicepresidenta de la Federación Dominicana Comerciantes de Supermercados, Raquel Miner y el asesor de la Mipyme y presidente nacional de FENAPYMED, Carmelo Rodríguez.
