San Luis. RD -El presidente Luis Abinader dejó en funcionamiento la Subestación Cabreto – San Luis a 345/ 138 kv el cual mejorará la calidad del suministro energético ofrecido a la ciudadanía y que ampliará la capacidad de transporte de la red de transmisión. La inversión asciende a RD$1,455.6 millones.

 

El mandatario afirmó que con la puesta en funcionamiento de la subestación Cabreto permitirá mayor confiabilidad en el Sistema Eléctrico Nacional Interconectado (SENI), mayor capacidad de transporte de energía de las zonas Sur, Norte y Este del país y permitirá la entrada de nuevos proyectos de generación.

 

Con la puesta en funcionamiento de la subestación también se deja en funcionamiento varias líneas de transmisión que conectan la nueva subestación Cabreto a 345/138 kilovoltios (kV), un conjunto de obras que robustecen el Sistema Nacional de Transmisión, disminuyen las pérdidas en las redes de transmisión, y mejoran el despacho económico de las centrales de generación facilitando la interconexión de nuevos proyectos de generación térmica y de fuentes renovables.

 

Esta subestación, tuvo una inversión de RD$1,455.6 millones, financiada por el Banco de Desarrollo KFW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, por sus siglas en alemán), diseño, suministro y montaje por la empresa alemana Siemens, así como supervisión de la empresa consultora ETEE y la ETED.

 

A este monto, se agregan también, otros RD$961.1 millones invertidos en líneas de transmisión 345/138 KV, que interconectan dicha subestación, lo cual arroja una inversión global de RD$2,416.7 millones.

De su lado, el administrador general de la Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED), Martín Robles Morillo, indicó que es el primer anillo a 345 kilovoltios que realiza la ETED en el Sistema Eléctrico Nacional Interconectado (SENI).

 

Dijo que el mismo, forma un lazo eléctrico que recorre e interconecta las subestaciones Julio Sauri-Cabreto – Bonao III – Julio Sauri, un anillo que garantiza, mayor flujo de potencia, estabilidad, continuidad y calidad en el suministro eléctrico en la provincia Santo Domingo y el Distrito Nacional, en las regiones Norte y Este del país, convirtiendo esta subestación y las líneas 345 y 138 KV que la interconectan al SENI en una infraestructura de elevada importancia para el sector eléctrico del país.

 

Explicó que, con la entrada en servicio de esta subestación que cierra el anillo a 345KV, Sur-Norte-Este, se prevé que la salida inesperada de alguna generadora de gran capacidad de producción en las zonas Este/Sur, no deberá ocasionar pérdida de tensión o aislamiento de ninguna de las regiones del país.

 

Primer palazo para la construcción de parques fotovoltaico “Washington Capital Solar Park 2 y 3”

El presidente Luis Abinader en compañía de los ejecutivos de Washington Capital Global Finance, Inc. Y Bas Corporation, dieron el primer palazo que da inicio a la construcción de los Parques Fotovoltaicos Washington Capital Solar Park 2 y 3.

El ministro de Energía y Minas, Antonio Almonte, resaltó el empuje que le ha dado el presidente Abinader a los proyectos de energía renovable, ya que este ha tenido que ver con una visión y un plan estratégico de transformación del sector eléctrico dominicano.

 

“No es un tema de moda, es un tema de una planificación previa realizada antes de llegar al poder”, manifestó Almonte.

 

Estas instalaciones contribuyen con el compromiso del Gobierno y el país, no solo de aumentar su capacidad de generación en energía renovable, sino con los lineamientos y acuerdos de la Cumbre de París sobre cambio climático, así como reducción de emisiones de carbono.

 

Parques Fotovoltaicos Washington Capital Solar

 

Se trata de dos proyectos de una potencia máxima de 50 MW nominales cada uno, igualmente cada parque contará con más de 149,000 paneles fotovoltaicos, 20 estaciones inversoras-transformadoras, una subestación de elevación a 138 kV de 60 MVA, y unos 25 km de línea en 138 kV.

 

Los trabajos de ingeniería, equipos y construcción están a cargo de la empresa Dominion Green, una multinacional española, en cuanto a la promoción y desarrollo del parque corresponden a Washington Capital Global Finance, Inc y a BAS Corporation.

Acompañaron al presidente Luis Abinader, el ministro de Energía y Minas, Antonio Almonte; el administrador del Banco de Reservas, Samuel Pereyra, el Superintendente de Electricidad, Andrés Astacio; la jefa adjunta de la Embajada Alemana, Katrin Werdermann y el presidente del Consejo Unificado Empresas Distribuidoras, Manuel Lara.

 

También, la presidente de la Comisión Sector Eléctrico de la Cámara de Diputados, Gaddis Corporán; el alcalde del Distrito Municipal de San Luis, Rodolfo Valera; el presidente del Consejo ETED, Bienvenido Rafael Santana Güilamo y la gobernadora de la provincia Santo Domingo, Julia Drullard.
