Presidente Abinader inaugura cuatro obras en Hato Mayor y El Seibo.

_Gobierno invierte más de RD$5 mil millones en obras Hato Mayor; mandatario da primer palazo para reconstrucción factoría de arroz en Miches_

Hato Mayor. Para dar inicio a una agenda de cuatro inauguraciones y un primer palazo en las provincias de Hato Mayor y El Seibo, el presidente Luis Abinader se dirigió en primer lugar al municipio de Sabana de la Mar donde inauguró un muelle y un polideportivo.

Al encabezar la inauguración del muelle público, reconstruido por el Ministerio de Obras Públicas con una inversión de RD$66 millones, el mandatario dijo sentirse “muy contento con todas las obras que estamos haciendo” y adelantó que en unos 60 días estarían inaugurando la carretera Hato Mayor – Sabana de la Mar.

Recordó además que se está construyendo una extensión de la UASD, un puerto, la carretera Sabana de la Mar – Caño Hondo y alcantarillados sanitarios.

Para el desarrollo de las obras en beneficio de esta provincia, el gobierno está invirtiendo más de RD$5,000 millones.

Con el inaugurado muelle se busca impulsar el turismo y desarrollo de Hato Mayor, con el cruce de pasajeros y turistas por la bahía entre esta provincia y Samaná.

El director de Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana, Jean Luis Rodríguez, agradeció al mandatario por creer y apoyar el futuro de muelles y puertos del país y manifestó “que en este gobierno, lo que se promete se cumple y lo que se inicia se termina».

Inauguración muelle Las Cañitas

El gobernante también inauguró el muelle público de Las Cañitas, con una inversión de RD$16 millones y que impactará a 125 familias de pescadores, mejorando sus condiciones y creando más empleos.

Con esta se busca mejorar la economía de una comunidad que recibe unos 250 mil turistas al año.

La capacidad de atraque del muelle es de 5 catamaranes y 16 yolas simultáneamente. Tiene un mirador y un camino de acceso con 30 bitas para embarcaciones, 12 boyarines y varadero de 24 yolas.

El director portuario afirmó que con la reconstrucción de los muelles a nivel nacional se está transformando la vida de unas 15 mil familias y 75 mil personas que se benefician de manera directa.

Inaugura dos instalaciones deportivas en Sabana de la Mar y Miches

Como parte de su apoyo al deporte y la recreación de la juventud, el Presidente inauguró el reconstruido polideportivo Silvano Quezada, en Sabana de la Mar, con una inversión superior a los RD$19 millones.

El mismo servirá para la práctica de baloncesto y voleibol y tiene habilitadas gradas, baños, almacén, espacios para oficinas administrativas y cafetería.

De su lado, el presidente de la Comisión Presidencial de Desarrollo Provincial, Ángel De La Cruz, exhortó a los jóvenes a disfrutar de la instalación y realizó un recuento de las intervenciones a nivel estructural que viene realizando la dirección que encabeza.

En tanto, que en la comunidad de La Gina, en Miches, provincia El Seibo, el jefe de Estado encabezó la inauguración del remozado complejo deportivo que cuenta con un estadio de softball, cancha de baloncesto y parque para niños.

La inversión para rehabilitación y adecuación de la instalación deportiva fue superior a RD$23 millones.

El estadio de softball tiene capacidad para más de 150 personas, cuenta con dos dugouts con capacidad para 12 jugadores, baño, vestidor, postes con iluminación, entre otros.

RD$33 millones para reconstruir factoría de arroz

Asimismo, el Presidente Abinader entregó un cheque por RD$33 millones a la Cooperativa de Servicios Múltiples Sectores Unidos (COOPSECU), representados por Pascual de la Rosa, para la reconstrucción y modernización de la factoría de arroz en La Gina, de Miches, afectada por el huracán Fiona.

La misma beneficiará a 65 productores de manera directa y otros 260 de forma indirecta.

El director del FEDA, Hecmilio Galván, informó que serán rehabilitadas las áreas de secado, molino, almacén y recepción.

Asistieron, el ministro de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascensión; el empresario Manuel Estrella; el senador y la gobernadora por Hato Mayor, Cristóbal Castillo y Julia Mery Vásquez; el viceministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, Igor Rodríguez; el alcalde de Sabana de la Mar, Samuel Taveras; el director del FEDA, Hecmilio Galván; los diputados, Saury Mota y Santiago Viloria.

También la gobernadora de El Seibo, Magalis Tabar de Goico, el alcalde de La Gina, Rafael Rodríguez y la diputada provincial, Grey Maldonado.
