Presidente Abinader encabezará inauguración del primer Festival Deportivo Navideño 2021

El evento repartirá premios por más de 60 millones de pesos

 

SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente Luis Abinader inaugurará el primer Festival Deportivo Navideño 2021 en la tarde de este viernes en una ceremonia virtual desde el enclave turístico de Cap Cana, provincia La Altagracia, donde encabezará la asamblea de la Federación Dominicana de Municipios (Fedomu).

 

El evento impactará a más de 71,000 atletas en los 158 municipios del país bajo los auspicios del Ministerio de Deportes y Recreación y la colaboración de la Dirección General de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales de la Presidencia (Propeep).

 

 

Se tiene previsto, asimismo, la celebración de ceremonias de inauguración en cada uno de los municipios, expresó el ministro de Deportes, Francisco Camacho.

 

“Será la primera vez que un evento comenzará simultáneamente en los 158 municipios del país, además de que será algo histórico, ya que impactará a un número sin precedentes de atletas y deportistas, por lo que el éxito está garantizado”, dijo Camacho, sobre el evento que repartirá más de 60 millones de pesos en premios.

 

 

El Festival Deportivo Navideño está programado para proyectar el talento de deportistas niños, jóvenes y adultos de toda la nación. Los atletas competirán en béisbol, categoría U-12; voleibol, U-16 femenino; baloncesto, U-23 masculino; baloncesto 3×3 femenino, y sóftbol categoría abierta en ambos sexos.

 

“Este evento concluirá el domingo 19 de diciembre con una gran final en Santo Domingo, y durante cada semana los equipos podrán ganar premios en metálico de 25 mil, 50 mil, 100 mil y 250 mil pesos”, agregó Camacho, sobre la justa que cuenta también con el respaldo de los Comedores Económicos del Estado.

 

En este primer fin de semana se celebrarán las eliminatorias. Cada municipio seleccionará cuatro equipos que los representará

 

Los días 3, 4 y 5 de diciembre los campeones municipales irán a las eliminatorias provinciales. Cada equipo ganador obtendrá un premio de 50,000 pesos.

 

Mientras que el 10, 11 y 12 de diciembre se realizarán las eliminatorias regionales y los equipos triunfadores serán premiado scon 100,000 pesos. En la última etapa, para el 17, 18 y 19 del último mes del año, esos equipos ganadores en las regiones competirán en la gran final en Santo Domingo, por sumas de hasta 250,000.
