Presidente Abinader destaca que Gobierno ha destinado 147 mil millones para asistir a los más vulnerables y al comercio en la frontera

*Santo Domingo. -* Los indicadores macroeconómicos actuales, afirmó el presidente Luis Abinader serían solo números, pero para que se reflejen en la vida diaria de los dominicano y dominicanos el Gobierno ha destinado más de RD$147 mil millones para proteger a los grupos sociales más expuestos.

 

Siempre, dijo en su rendición de cuentas ante la Asamblea Nacional “hemos tenido claro que el rigor y el manejo eficiente de las cuentas públicas tenía que venir acompañado de un esfuerzo para ayudar a proteger el presupuesto familiar”.

 

“Nos hemos caracterizado, afirmó el Presidente, por ser un gobierno sensible y siempre atento a las necesidades de la gente. Donde se presenta un problema, allí vamos en su auxilio”.

 

Abinader afirmó que adquirir los productos de alimentación diaria por familia tiene para los dominicanos un costo mensual menor que en el resto de los países de la región. Son US$210 en República Dominicana frente a US$250 de El Salvador, US$290 de Panamá; US$478 de Guatemala y US$569 de Costa Rica, informa el Consejo Centroamericano de Protección al Consumidor.

 

Explicó que el programa Supérate, ha asistido a más personas con montos superiores, fortaleciendo y ampliando los subsidios sociales que han llegado a un 1,550,000 familias; y 1,511,000 familias están recibiendo el subsidio Aliméntate, que es de RD$1,650 mensuales.

 

Dijo que a 1,323,111 hogares se les está entregando el Bonogás Hogar, un subsidio para la compra del gas licuado de petróleo, que aumentó RD$228 a RD$470 mensuales; y el Bonoluz, para el pago de energía eléctrica, llega ya 536,117 familias de escasos recursos económicos, con montos de RD$597 y RD$617 mensuales.

 

Abinader detalló en su informe al Congreso, que los bonos Aprende y Avanza, previstos para las familias con hijos que cursan los niveles básico y secundario, se están entregando a 201,779 hogares, para de 73,872 estudiantes para Aprende y 122,956 para Avanza. En adición, más de un 1,111,000 mil estudiantes se beneficiaron con el bono de RD$ 1000 en ayuda para compra de útiles y libros al inicio del año escolar.

 

Informó que en octubre del año pasado, fue activado el Bono Fronterizo para auxiliar los pequeños comerciantes de la frontera, como parte de las medidas para hacer frente al impacto generado por el cierre temporal del comercio con Haití.

 

Para esta iniciativa, explicó, se asignó un presupuesto de más de 55 millones de pesos para atender a 1,500 beneficiarios, con pagos distribuidos en diferentes renglones de RD$10,000, RD$15,000, RD$20,000 y RD$ 25,000 pesos. Se beneficiaron los comerciantes de Loma de Cabrera y Restauración, de Dajabón, Bánica y Elías Piña
