Presidente Abinader deja iniciada construcción UASD en Santiago Rodríguez con inversión de RD$648 millones.

_Es el quinto subcentro que inicia el gobierno en últimos 30 días; mandatario da primer palazo para reconstrucción Grupo Médico Gran Poder de Dios; anoche cenó con 400 ganaderos._

 

Santiago Rodríguez.-El Gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader continúa expandiendo la presencia de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) en el territorio nacional, con el primer palazo del subcentro para Santiago Rodríguez.

El recinto tendrá capacidad para mil estudiantes y una inversión superior a los RD$648 millones.

 

El mandatario destacó que estas son las inversiones con las que se logra el desarrollo social y económico de un país, porque la educación es sinónimo de progreso.

 

“No hay una calidad del gasto público mejor que este que estamos haciendo hoy para la República Dominicana. Esto es calidad del gasto, esto es multiplicar los talentos dominicanos”, dijo el Presidente.

 

El recinto ha sido esperado por 43 años ya que las clases son impartidas en un pabellón prestado del Liceo Librado Eugenio Belliard, por lo que una vez entregado, los estudiantes recibirán clases en mejores condiciones y abrirá espacio para los bachilleres que deben trasladarse a otros puntos para estudiar.

 

El ministro de Viviendas y Edificaciones, Carlos Bonilla, expresó que “un joven capacitado es un ente social que suma al desarrollo de una nación, es por tanto que el compromiso de esta administración está en cumplir con la promesa de construir un mejor futuro para la República Dominicana”.

 

Inician 5 subcentros en 30 días e incorporarán nuevas ofertas académicas

 

De su lado, el nuevo rector de la UASD, Editrudis Beltrán, manifestó que “es un hito en la historia que en tan corto tiempo y desde el Estado, se haya iniciado la construcción de varios centros y subcentros requeridos en diferentes provincias del país”.

 

Esto debido a que en menos de 30 días, el gobierno, a través del MIVED, ha iniciado trabajos de construcción de los recintos UASD en Azua, Cotuí, Baní, Neiba y Santiago Rodríguez.

 

Así mismo, Beltrán informó que se incorporarán nuevas ofertas académicas conectadas con las necesidades de la provincia como la industria agropecuaria y su potencial ecoturístico.

 

La infraestructura se convertirá también en el centro cultural de la provincia, que carece de espacios adecuados para dar charlas o presentar obras.

 

Este primer palazo para subcentros UASD es el último de este año y se reanudarán en 2023.

 

Reconstrucción Centro Médico Gran Poder de Dios

El mandatario también participó en el inicio de los trabajos para la tercera etapa de la Clínica Gran Poder de Dios, que agregará 100 espacios de internamiento al sistema de salud nacional.

 

Además crea 100 empleos directos y 200 indirectos.

 

El edificio de 10 niveles, que se construirá con inversión privada de 12 millones de dólares, tendrá área de emergencias, modernas habitaciones, salas de cirugías y brindará servicios de calidad con personal altamente capacitado.

Maritza Gómez Díaz, propietaria de la clínica, dijo también que gracias a la gestión del presidente Abinader, ahora están afiliados al Seguro Nacional de Salud (SeNaSa), en las modalidades contributivo y subsidiado.

 

Cena con 400 ganaderos

 

La noche del sábado, el Presidente sostuvo un encuentro con 400 productores ganaderos locales con el objetivo de impulsar la competitividad y aportar soluciones a las problemáticas que les afectan, como el alto costo de producción.

 

Indicó se debe revisar la ley 180-01 para hacerla más eficiente, también se debe presentar un plan para mejorar el riego y ayudar a prevenir impactos negativos en tiempos de sequía y una lista de equipos requeridos para la producción, así como de pastos y forrajes.

 

También manifestó su apoyo para la construcción de 11 centros para cambio de matriz energética y el apoyo a la compra de sus producciones a través del INABIE y otros programas sociales.

 

En otro orden anunció nuevos acueductos múltiples con inversión aproximada de mil 650 millones de pesos a través del INAPA y que deberían iniciar a finales de este año o primer trimestre del 2023.

 

Estos son el acueducto múltiple Cacique-Monción- Los Quemados y Beladeros, con inversión de 270 millones de pesos y que estará listo para iniciar licitación en agosto.

 

También están los de Villa Los Almácigos – El Pino y el de Sabaneta, desde la presa de Guayubín, cuyas licitaciones estarían listas para fines de septiembre, con inversiones aproximadas de 350 millones de pesos y mil millones de pesos respectivamente.

 

Estuvieron presentes el ministro de Educación Superior, Franklin García Fermín; el senador Antonio Marte; el presidente de la Liga Municipal Dominicana, Víctor D’Aza; el diputado Nicolás López; el alcalde provincial Antonio María Vargas, entre otros.
