Presidente Abinader aclara que en Diálogo con Liderazgo Nacional no aceptará cambios sobre elección presidencial

Convocatoria es para hablar de los problemas de la gente y pide se invite al mayor número de sectores.

El presidente de la República, Luis Abinader dejó claramente establecido que en el diálogo con el liderazgo nacional a iniciarse mañana no aceptará ni apoyará ningún cambio a la Constitución sobre la elección presidencial.

En una correspondencia enviada a Rafael Toribio, presidente del Consejo Económico y Social (CES), quien coordinará el diálogo, Abinader explica que «es  el momento de hablar de los problemas de la gente y no de nosotros mismos; a eso les convoco, y para eso les pido su colaboración».

«De esta reforma queda fuera cualquier aspiración partidista, personal o que no sea de interés prioritario para el conjunto del país en este momento», enfatizó el mandatario.

«En este diálogo, discutiremos nuestra agenda de reformas estructurales que incluye algunas que ya están en marcha y otras que impulsaremos a partir de este proceso», sostuvo.

«Estamos dispuesto a debatir, junto a la reforma Constitucional, la reforma de la Transparencia y la Institucionalidad; la del Sector Eléctrico; la del Agua; de la Policía Nacional; la Modernización del Estado; la
Calidad Educativa; la Seguridad Social; el Transporte; la Transformación Digital; la
Reforma Fiscal; la Laboral y la Reforma del Mercado de Hidrocarburos», sostuvo.

Indicó que los temas a tratar son amplios y afectan a diferentes ámbitos; «por eso sugerimos que se invite a participar al mayor número de sectores para que todos se sientan incluidos en la construcción del país que queremos ser».

«Modernizar la República Dominicana es una tarea de todos, que exige trabajo y
generosidad. Por eso me quiero detener en algo fundamental antes de empezar este proceso de diálogo», agregó.

En ese sentido fue categórico al señalar que el debate sobre la reforma constitucional, que será abordado en el diálogo, será siempre bajo tres principios irrenunciables.

Citó: garantizar la separación de poderes; equilibrar la redistribución de funciones de las administraciones públicas y consolidar el firme compromiso del ejercicio democrático en virtud de la soberanía popular.

Agrega en su misiva que el gobierno está decidido a que la República Dominicana de un paso irreversible hacia la institucionalidad, la modernidad y la consolidación de la democracia y para lograrlo cuenta   con todo el pais  «para lograr este noble y ambicioso propósito».

«El Consejo Económico y Social tiene un papel fundamental en este proceso, pues es el mejor catalizador para tener una visión amplia, incluir a todos los sectores, elaborar propuestas integrales y canalizarlas para el mejor éxito», explica el mandatario.

Recordó que el pasado  18 de agosto, en su discurso a la nación, anunció el propósito de convocar a todo el liderazgo nacional, para juntos consensuar esta nueva etapa de cambios y transformación que el país demanda.
