Santo Domingo.-El Poder Ejecutivo dio a conocer este lunes los decretos 204-23 y 205-23, ambos con fecha del 9 mayo, que crean dos parques industriales en San Cristóbal y La Romana para el desarrollo económico de ambas provincias.
Mediante el decreto 204-23, el presidente Luis Abinader dispuso la creación del parque de Zona Franca Industrial del Caribe Zofraica que estará ubicado en la provincia de San Cristóbal, mientras que el decreto 205-23 crea el Parque Industrial Zona Franca Flor del Este en Villa Hermosa de la provincia La Romana.
Ambos decretos contienen que, una vez aprobadas por el Consejo Nacional de Zonas Francas de Exportación, se beneficiarán de los incentivos y exenciones contenidas en las leyes, decretos y reglamentos vigentes y de aquellos que pudiesen decretarse en el futuro.
También especifican que actuará en nombre y representación del Estado el ministro de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes que establecerá las condiciones bajo las cuales se desarrollará, operará y regulará las relaciones y manejo de estos parques industriales de zona franca de exportación.
