Sánchez, Samaná.– En un lamentable hecho ocurrido la tarde de este sábado un camión de carga marca Dahiatsu de color blanco, placa L264537 el cual se dirigía hacia la localidad de Arroyo Barril a llevar ayuda a los afectados del Huracan Fiona, se trasladaba desde Las Terrenas por la carretera de Majagual adentro del municipio de Sánchez, se deslizó perdiendo el control y precipitando hacia el vacío, donde perdió la vida el chófer, identificado como Pedro Castillo Figueroa de 42 años de edad residente en Villa Mella.

 

Diferentes organismos de socorro como son son el 911, la Policía Nacional, Digesett, Cruz Roja , Defensa Civil y los Bomberos, estuvieron presentes para brindar asistencia, el cuerpo sin vida fue trasladado a la morgue del hospital municipal Alberto Gautreaux de Sánchez.
