Una profesora murió este lunes tras ser atropellada por un camión en San Pedro de Macorís, como consecuencia de un estado de «confusión» que presentaba la docente, según el el centro escolar al que pertenecía.

 

La víctima es Ana Iris Ortega, de 34 años, quien trabajaba en la escuela Laguna Prieta, del municipio El Soco de Ramón Santana.

 

El accidente ocurrió en la Autovía del Este, próximo a la Antena, en dirección este-oeste, a 20 metros.

El chófer del camión estuvo detenido y fue presentado en la fiscalía de Ramón Santana.

Informe preliminar del centro

Según el informe realizado por de la Escuela Laguna Primera, en relación con la docente Ortega, dirigido al director del distrito 05-01, Manuel Emilio Pacheco Ramírez, al que Diario Libre tuvo acceso, esta se encontraba en un estado de confusión mental la mañana de este lunes 27.

El informe, el cual está firmado por la directora del centro, Leidy Margarita Griffith y la orientadora Stefany M. Durán Mercedes, se explica que la maestra se presentó a dicha escuela como de costumbre, a la hora establecida, y ante la situación emocional de la docente deciden llevarla hasta la biblioteca del centro.

“Al estar allí, la maestra sigue en el mismo estado y preguntando que dónde ella estaba y qué era una biblioteca”, narra.

Contextualiza que llaman al distrito para orientarse y saber cómo proceder ante la situación, siendo aproximadamente 9:30 de la mañana, mientras conversan con el personal del distrito, la maestra salió del centro educativo y la directora solicitó de inmediato que la llamaran para que no se fuera sola en su condición.

Cita que, en estado de aparente calma, la docente dice que vuelve de inmediato, esta le hizo parada a una de guagua de trasporte, pero no se paró y el portero del centro intentó disuadirla de no irse, pero esta no le hizo caso y de inmediato se lanzó a la calle y fue atropellada por un camión, falleciendo en el acto.
