Muere joven luego de graves lesiones en incendio en Canal del Sol.

Santo Domingo, RD.- Falleció la noche del viernes en el Hospital Traumatológico Ney Arias Lora, Kelvin Castillo, de 22 años, uno de los lesionados en el incendio ocurrido el martes pasado en el Canal Del Sol, en el Distrito Nacional.

 

La información la ofreció el director de la Unidad de Quemados Pearl F. Ort que funciona en el centro, doctor Eddy Bruno. Este explicó que Castillo registró un shock hipovolémico irreversible.

El joven presentaba quemaduras de segundo grado profundo y tercer grado en el 95% de la superficie de su cuerpo.

 

Bruno había informado que Castillo no presentaba mejoría porque había entrado en un estado de hipotensión. La que se trata de una baja en la presión cardíaca, que evidencia fallas en los sistemas renales y cardíacos.

 

Castillo se desempeñaba como director de cámaras del Canal Del Sol, ubicado en la calle Scouts del ensanche Naco, Distrito Nacional.

 

Con la muerte de Kelvin Castillo se eleva a tres las víctimas mortales del incendio.

 

Kelvin Castillo llevaba cinco años laborando en el canal 6. El día del suceso llegó más temprano si saber que el peligro le acechaba.

 

La empresa prioriza el empleo de personas de las zonas aledañas.

 

Allí solo quedan escombros, escenas que recuerdan el momento desgarrador que se llevó la vida de tres personas.

 

La empresa Canal del Sol emitió un comunicado en el que informó que aun se investigan las causas que provocaron el trágico incendio que afectó sus instalaciones y en el que murieron tres personas, y otros resultaron con quemaduras graves.
