_Afirma ningún gobierno ha invertido más en educación que el del presidente Luis Abinader._

 

Santo Domingo.-El ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, aseguró este miércoles que el el 4% asignado al Ministerio de Educación es un tema que no está en discusión.

Paliza afirmó que ningún gobierno en la historia de República Dominicana ha invertido más en educación anualmente como lo ha hecho el gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader.

 

«Mientras el gobierno del presidente Fernández negaba que el 4% fuera una necesidad y el del presidente Danilo Medina nunca invirtió más del 3.6% del PIB en educación, este gobierno en los dos últimos años ha invertido la mayor cantidad de recursos nunca antes visto en materia de educación», manifestó.

Y agregó: «Quiero expresarles para tranquilidad el pueblo dominicano y de cada uno de ustedes que el 4% no está en cuestión. Hemos sido nosotros, de los principales, nuestro partido, de propulsores para que el 4% fuera hoy una realidad y podemos decirles a usted y a toda la comunidad educativa que el 4%, como método, como estandarte para inversión en educación tanto para este año como para los años venideros no está en discusión».

 

Al responder preguntas a los periodistas que cubren la fuente del Palacio Nacional, Paliza resaltó los profundos esfuerzos que realiza el Gobierno del presidente Abinader para poder atender al pueblo dominicano y atenuar los efectos de las circunstancias internacionales como el culmino de la pandemia y la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania que han elevado los precios internacionales de las cosas.

 

Entre estos esfuerzos citó el subsidio a los combustibles, aumento de los subsidios que de manera directa se ofrece a través de los programas sociales del Gobierno como Supérate y otros a las familias meas desposeídas, así como otras, para poder contribuir con esta situación particular que se vive.

 

“Este es un año especial, sin embargo, vuelvo a reiterar, que el 4% para la educación no está en discusión”, expresó el ministro.
