Medio Ambiente destruyen embarcaciones utilizadas para transportar material del río Yuna

Miembros del Servicio Nacional de Protección Ambiental (SEMPA) incautaron una gran cantidad de material de la corteza terrestre (arena) que habría sido extraída del río Yuna en varios puntos críticos en comunidad Los Platanitos, municipio Arenoso, provincia Duarte procediendo a destruir varias pequeñas embarcaciones caseras que eran utilizadas para la extracción del agregado.

Parte del material incautado fue llevado al destacamento del Ejército de la República Dominicana, en el sector Guaraguao del municipio Arenoso, la otra fue depositada en el referido río.
