MÉDICOS PIDEN JUSTICIA POR ESTAFAS DE HOSPITALES EN PASADO GOBIERNO DEL PLD.

Santo Domingo, RD. Una comisión del Colegio Médico Dominicano, solicitó drásticas sanciones para los responsables de estafar al estado dominicano, con más de 2,000 millones de pesos, bajo el compromiso de reparar varios hospitales en Santiago y Santo Domingo.

 

Los comisionados representados por el doctor Víctor Peñalo, dijeron que un grupo de estafadores auspiciados por Alexis Medina (hermano del ex presidente Danilo Medina) timaron al pueblo con astronómicas sumas, dejando los centros médicos abandonados.

 

Manifestaron que una empresa presidida por el señor Johnny Cabrera, vinculado en varios expedientes por estafa contra el Estado, dentro de los cuales se cita también el relacionado a la venta irregular de mascarillas en momentos de la Pandemia, sustrajo del arca pública miles de millones de pesos, sin embargo, el hospital Regional Universitario José María Cabral y Báez, además de los enormes vicios de construcción y falta de equipamientos para lo que se le contrató, fue  abandonado en medio del proceso de terminación.

 

Los galenos agregaron que el entramado consta además con la participación activa de Maybeth Rodríguez (hermana del ex procurador Jean Alain Rodríguez preso por corrupción), entre otros malhechores.

 

“Apoyamos el trabajo de la Procuraduría General de la República en su lucha anticorrupción, y aprovechamos para sugerir a la procuradora General de la República, Miriam Germán, para que instruya profundizar sobre el daño originado a la salud en medio de esa ambición desmedida que caracteriza la pandilla antes descrita».
