SANTO DOMINGO. -La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) pronostica para este viernes aguaceros moderados en ocasiones con tronadas aisladas y posibles ráfagas de viento, principalmente en la tarde y primeras horas de la noche, siendo más notorios los mismos sobre diferentes provincias o comunidades de las regiones; noreste, sureste, (incluyendo el Gran Santo Domingo), el suroeste, el norte, la Cordillera Central y algunos poblados fronterizos.

Explica que estas precipitaciones se deben a los efectos de una vaguada en distintos niveles de la troposfera ubicada al noreste de Puerto Rico, la cual, se estará desplazando hacia la porción noreste de la isla, así como, algunos campos nubosos indirectos asociados a la depresión tropical # 13 localizada a distancia del territorio dominicano en aguas del mar Caribe, dicha interacción, comenzará aportar la humedad suficiente para generar aguaceros.

En su reporte, Onamet dijo que la depresión tropical número 13, fue localizada en la mañana de hoy, a unos 55 kilómetros al sureste de la punta norte de la península de la Guajira Colombia con vientos máximos sostenidos de 55 km/h y moviéndose hacia el oeste a unos 24 km/h.

Santo Domingo Norte: incrementos ocasionales de la nubosidad con aguaceros locales, tronadas y aisladas ráfagas de viento.

Santo Domingo Este: incrementos ocasionales de la nubosidad con aguaceros locales, tronadas y aisladas ráfagas de viento.

Referente a la costa Caribeña, La Oficina meteorológico recomendó a los operadores de las frágiles y pequeñas embarcaciones, permanecer en puerto desde Cabo Beata (Pedernales) hasta Punta prieta (Barahona) debido a viento y oleaje anormal, como consecuencia la incidencia indirecta del paso de la depresión tropical # 13 sobre aguas abiertas del mar Caribe.

Para mañana sábado, Onamet dijo que el cielo estará nublado con aguaceros dispersos, tormentas eléctricas y aisladas ráfagas de viento en diferentes provincias de las regiones; noreste, sureste, suroeste, la Cordillera Central y algunos poblados fronterizos, principalmente en la tarde y primeras horas de la noche.
