Liberan señora de 70 años que fingió secuestro para para cobrar RD$2.2 millones a su hija.

Un tribunal de San Cristóbal desestimó la acusación que pesaba sobre una señora de 70 años que fingió ser secuestrada para cobrar RD$2.2 millones a su hija.

 

Delsi Esperanza Hernández, quien fue detenida junto a Yorvy Soto, el supuesto secuestrador, y Roberto de Jesús Reyes, quien estaría a cargo de recoger el dinero del rescate, fue dejada en libertad debido a que el Código Penal no tipifica el auto secuestro.

“El Código Penal no tipifica el autosecuestro en la República Dominicana y no establece ningún tipo de sanción”, subrayó el abogado de la familia al considerar que el Ministerio Público falló al detener a la señora.

“Y falló el vocero de la Policía al adelantarse a dar informaciones sin hacer la investigación correspondiente”, agregó el jurista.

El pasado viernes circuló un video en las redes sociales en el que muestra cuando agentes policiales detuvieron a dos hombres que llevaban en un vehículo a una señora mayor en un aparente secuestro.

 

En una nota de prensa, la Policía Nacional informó que el trío fue apresado en Villa Altagracia, San Cristóbal, y estaban acusados de planificar un “autosecuestro” con la intención de extorsionar a la hija de la presunta raptada para que pagara la suma millonaria por el rescate.

Según las indagatorias del Departamento de Investigaciones de Secuestros, adscrito a la Dirección Central de Investigación (Dicrim), una hija de la víctima se presentó ante la Policía a denunciar que el jueves 20 de octubre recibió una llamada telefónica desde el celular de su madre, residente en San Cristóbal, en la que un hombre le dijo que tenían a su progenitora en un carro secuestrada y amarrada.
