La comisión de Los Derechos Humanos, con sede en la provincia de Samaná, reconoce al Teniente Coronel Félix R. Ventura, por su labor en el destacamento Policial del municipio de Sánchez.
El director de los derechos humanos Aurelio Rivas Molina, al entregar la placa de reconocimiento, magnífestó que el Coronel Ventura desde que llegó al municipio a hecho un trabajo de calidad y de respeto a los derechos de los cuidados, haciéndolo que cumplan la ley sin atropello y con altura.
En tanto que para el representante del gobierno Jorge Clemencio George, es un reconocimiento muy merecido porqué el coronel con su cuerpo policial a demostrado que es un hombre de trabajo y que ha trabajado de la manos de la sociedad organizada, haciendo respectar y cumplir la ley.
Ventura, agradeció dicho reconocimiento que le hace la comisión Nacional de los derechos humanos, dijo además que el trabajo realizado lo ha hecho juntos a su cuerpo policial, que sin la ayuda de ellos y de la sociedad organizada no se hubiera logrado el trabajo que hasta el momento se ha podido realizar en esta localidad.
Al acto de reconocimiento a parte de la representación de los agentes policiales de dicho destacamento policial, también se dieron citas representantes del gobierno, del empresariados, de la dirección de deportes provincial, de la Amada Dominicana, presidentes de juntas de vecinos y de la comunicación.
